  1. YUM soft plastics are great and very reasonably priced. Lunkerhunt lures are also a very good budget product.
  2. Booyah Hardknocker lipless crankbait, Berkley Pitbull, and Berkley Bad Shad. These shoud get you started off right.
  3. I bought the Ocean Kayak Malibu II XL Angler last year through Cabelas. It's 13.5 feet long, and 35 inches wide. It comes with two padded seats and two rod holders because its large enough for two, but seats can be removed to fish solo also. Great Kayak. Only Weighs 75 lbs. I bought the Thule 883 Glide and Set rooftop kayak carrier for it. Works great and no problems transporting it on my Subaru Outback. The Glide and Set even makes it easy to load and unload on my own.
  4. It's all just a matter of confidence. Whatever search bait you have the most confidence in, is the one you should throw first.
  5. Booyah spinnerbaits are my favorite.
  6. I fish from a kayak and the bank. Just bought a new Spiderwire tackle bag in January. It comes with 5 storage boxes and there is room to add more. It also has plenty of storage pockets for hooks, pliars, line, extra soft plastic packs, etc. Highly recommend!
  7. Lifetime is a good brand. If you can get that kayak for $199 then jump all over it.
  8. Weightless senko, spinnerbait, and lipless crankbait.
  9. I would suggest bank fishing from smaller ponds and getting away from the larger bodies of water.
  10. It's much harder to bank fish on a lake because I feel limited in the area I can fish. I much prefer ponds when bank fishing. I suggest an affordable kayak so you can get the best of both worlds.
  11. Use braided line and don't fill the spool as much.
  12. I catch bigger fish during the spawn, but I catch more fish in the summer. Early mornings in the summer is my favorite time to fish.
  13. Yum Dinger Yum Christi Craw Berkley Powerbait 7 inch ribbontail worm Senko Berkley Powerbait Lizard
  14. Booyah Hard Knocker lipless crankbait. Berkley Pit Bull square bill crankbait. Berkley Bad Shad crankbait. Booyah black colorado blade spinnerbait. Rebel Pop-R.
