  1. Saw him in Hamburg, Germany, 1983. He has a lot of fans over there, I'll never forget the air drummers going at it when he worked all those drums. I was looking for some old pictures I took there, but the wife moved them on me. I know it takes a village to make a band, but I don't believe Rush would have been as popular without him.
  2. Greatest drummer that will ever be!
  3. Nothing online about it other than the ICAST videos. Hope to have by the weekend. If I don't like it I'll send the rest back for refund...$75.99 is a lot of coin for a line you might not like.
  4. I fish...what are your Superpowers?
  5. Anyone tried this yet? I've been sold on their fluorocarbon lines and I thought I'd give their braid a try. I just pulled the trigger on a 600 yd spool.
  6. To all the Troopers out there, past, present, and future..."Garry Owen!"
  7. I remember a time when a young soldier couldn't wear his uniform when traveling through airports in this country. (Vietnam) This was a tragic event that changed our lives forever. The days that followed especially changed mine as I witnessed the thousands of young men and women across this country walk into the recruiting stations to serve their country. I was so proud to be an American when I saw this.
  8. This one may just sit in my collection. Sounds like...Party Time!
  9. Thanks AJay! I had received a couple of these as a "service" along with a JDM order this past winter and forgot I had them. I'll throw em in the jig box and give a try. How does the blade hold up?
  10. Here's one for you...
  11. I don't call those bird nests anymore...I call it a professional overrun.
  12. My nephew, Jerry, sailing out of the San Francisco harbor on his boat, the Calypso.
  13. Megabass Big-M 4.0 Extreme Crank (Floating) L - 126mm (4.96") W - 2 oz Depth - 4 m (12')
  14. On those days when I limit myself to one top water rod, I like using this lure. Introduced ten years ago, Megabass XPOD. 4.25" 3/4oz
  15. Siebert Jigs = penetration power.
  16. Listen to A-Jay. (top water box doesn't look this clean end of season)
  17. Old school here, I use leather bound journals that read more like daily journals. I do include hand drawn maps and pictures. I'm hoping my kids and grandchildren enjoy reading them someday.
  18. I miss fishing with my late father. William Scoggins, WWII, Korean War.
  19. Retired from a second career last year. (teaching)
  20. Welcome Lloyd! Not a real Okie here, transplanted after retiring from the Army and recently retired from a second career. (teaching) Maybe our kayaks will cross paths someday.
  21. Bingo! We've been checking oxygen levels every week at refuge since mid July. Finally got some rain last week and we're starting to see better levels.
  22. I love Siebert jigs. I like to tie my own skirts and I've been using the Dredge jigs for a few years now, sharpest hooks out there.
  23. S Crank
  24. While loading the kayak this morning to come home, I caught a glimpse of Orion rising in the east. Fall transition is right around the corner.
