  1. Time to get out the skirt material and put the vise to work, Thanks Mike @Siebert Outdoors.
  2. My order of Dredge Brush Jig heads came today. The Dredge series made with the Owner Deep Throat hooks are the sharpest jigs period! I'm going to enjoy tying skirts to these and I'll enjoy fishing them even more. Thanks Mike @Siebert Outdoors!
  3. That groundhog is so fired!
  4. I got a serious fetish for Blackberry Jelly Worms.
  5. I might get an order in tomorrow if it makes it in to the post office by O-dark-thirty. @Siebert Outdoors You can't beat Mike's jigs.
  6. I went this morning, had fun fighting the Oklahoma wind.
  7. Holy swimbait, Batman! XXH rated for 14 oz baits, what are you two @J Francho @Bluebasser86 fishing for? Alligator Gar? Should I go with the Guide Select, I'll have to look at the wiring harness that runs down on the side (inside) of my hull. I don't think I can store a 7'11" rod down the center due to the obstruction inside the hull under the seat. The specs on the Guide Select is impressive, I might give it a go once I redo the wiring harness.
  8. Welcome to BR @Jweller! Hey @Bluebasser86, you're looking good on that Big Game2!
  9. 10.7, that qualifies for the "OVER 10 LBS." club!
  10. The Antares and Conquest are no good. Send them to me and I'll dispose of them for you.
  11. Thinking I should get off BR and start packing for a trip. I hate packing!
  12. I handed off my 11-year old Lamiglas XC807 to my son this winter and was getting ready to drop coin on another Lamiglas last night when I came across this Okuma Nomad Express. There's only 5-6 times a year when I throw the heavy baits and I'm limited on the number of rods I can carry on the kayaks. This Okuma would fit nicely inside the hatches and comes in two models rated for 1-4 and 2-8 ozs. I know that earlier models (2015) had problems with cardboard spacers, that arborded the reel seat, disintegrating when water seeped in, but a couple folks I talked to about the newer models told me that this has been fixed. I would appreciate any user thoughts on this Okuma.
  13. Thanks for sharing this. I use to umpire games up until about 15 years ago. Gave it up when some of parents started getting verbally abusive towards the kids. I do miss it.
  14. I like using lizards around beds.
  15. Oh oh, this isn't looking good.
  16. Always a good day when the mailwoman brings a JDM box to the front door.
  17. In 1945, Marine Gunnery Sgt. Robert Van Camp carried a small, 48-star American flag in his pocket during the Battle of Iwo Jima. This weekend, his son, retired Marine Captain Robert W. Van Camp brought the same flag to an annual remembrance ceremony on the island, which also drew a dozen of the dwindling number of U.S. veterans of the battle. His father was wounded during the battle. (Photos, Stars and Stripes)
  18. She's a fatty. How deep was she?
  19. I'm going to hit the quiet zone north of the horse shoe at McGee Creek before heading over to Broken Bow.
  20. Yes, Missouri turned out to be painless. So did Illinois, but Virginia, Georgia, and Texas was giving me a headache. Might have been my server, but those sites would eventually take me to blank pages. I'll try again in a couple of days or maybe I'll call and see if I can do it over the phone.
  21. I got so frustrated trying to buy non-resident licenses for multiple states this morning, I felt like taking a hammer to the laptop. I always purchase for the year as it is cheaper than buying by the day as I usually will spend 1-2 weeks at a lake. Some state sites work good, others not so good. I wish the Department of the Interior or other agency would host one site where a person could go and make multiple state purchases. Maybe it's just one of those days.
  22. March 23, 1994, twenty-four Army paratroopers were lost when a F16 fighter collided with a C141 on the "Green Ramp," North Carolina. You are not forgotten.
