Yeah, retirement is like that. Just woke up from a nap, thought I'd try and hit the lake earlier this evening, maybe around midnight. I wish the grass would grow faster so I could mow the lawn again. Oh well, there's always this new photo editor, might make another picture.
OK, laugh, but I'm literally devastated. Found out I can't get my 9" Blackberry Jelly Worms anymore. Yeah they still make the 6, 8, and 12", but it won't feel the same. Oh well, jumping in the truck and heading to the lake. I can hear the sound of bagpipes rolling across the hills...
You are so right on that one. I've tried my gill baits in lakes where the predominant baitfish was shad and I wouldn't have any luck at all. Then again, I've got a couple lakes where the shad is absent but are heavy with gill and the bass will slam these baits.
Have you tried the Gantarel yet?
The best part of retirement, waving at everyone going to work on your way to the lake. The bad part, the "honey do" list gets longer. Congrats and welcome to the club!
I've had a couple of these for a couple of years now and threw one for the first time this morning before leaving the lake. The little guys, 1-2 lbs went crazy on it, can't wait to hunt something bigger with it. Anyone else try these? Deps Bullshooter 160.
Man, just sitting here shaking my head. Thumbs up to the author, they really did their homework. I don't feel sorry for Long though, I feel sorry for everyone who fished against him in all those tournaments and never jeopardized their honor.
