  1. My private lake has plenty of bass in the 7-8 pound range, several double digit bass up to around 12-13 pounds. It is a Virginia lake, about 60 acres in size, but the max depth is just 7 feet. The entire lake is a millpond flat... with no real depth at all, even by the dam. Hope this helps!
  2. Heading out to Briery this week in Farmville, VA. Has anyone seen the lake since we got snow? Just wanting to know if there's ice on the lake or not. Looking at Wednesday, Thursday or Friday of this week to go. Thanks in advance!
  3. 8.04 lbs Virginia. 6” Bull Shad swimbait eater.
  4. Jerkbait. And the 5 came off a 5” bull shad by mike bucca (sold at GreenTop)
  5. Had the day of a lifetime with the good buddy, Kevin Brooke. We posted a 40+ pound Virginia bag. Broke my PB with a 10.27 and 15 min later caught a 9.92!! Kevin got an 8.4 and we doubled with my 7.3 and grabbed them out of the water together. Smallest was like 5.5. Low pressure system, 70’s and windy = TOAD FEST. Cheers brother, a memory of a lifetime!!!!! Plus Black Sabbath and bud lites = ?? Pictured is my 10.2 PB and my 9.92 runner up!
  6. I just use a lews tournament series
  7. No help from dad! Solo mission, and yes! Let’s fish this summer.
  8. A buddy said the big pre spawners like a glide bait this time of year. I bought the S Waver by River 2 Sea... and got annihilated by 2 good ones. Work it slow and add some pauses! Water temp was 56.
  9. You're tellin' ME!!!! hahah she def was 10 and change.
  10. Appreciate it man!
  11. Keep phishing bro!
  12. She had a huge tail sticking out of her throat and belly was beyond full... perch pattern jerkbait was the ticket!!!!
  13. I just got my January PB mount in the mail and on my wall in early December and she was a 9.3. This bass was noticeably thicker and fatter... so YES i will have to get a mount. Just sad the scales wouldn't stay on long enough to read her because she's a 10.0 minimum. Still have tons to be PUMPED about though, catch of a lifetime!
  14. Got her today on the rapala jerk bait. 24” Virginia Stud. Was noticeably larger than my 9.3 from January.
  15. Excellent technique!!!
  16. Thanks! She was pretty!!!
  17. Got on a nice bass this Tuesday. Water temps were 42. Wind was around 6-7 mph (cant remember which direction). I was throwing the Rapala Shadow Rap 5-6' diving jerkbait in a perch pattern when this hog slammed it. My line went heavy, and she pulled off, then came back an WACKED it! 8 pounds 12 ounce Virginia STUD! Tight lines yall!
  18. It was on a 5 second pause. My second largest jerkbait fish!

  20. Friday I threw a huge soft plastic shad swimbait on an Owner 10 ot belly hook with underspin. Landed this Virginia stud!!
  21. Not being a jerk...., but that's not a 10 pound bass. And believe me.. I hate the guys who get on here and crap all over posts, because they are jealous, but unless you're like 7 feet tall with massive hands... that looks no larger than a 7 pound bass. Did you get an official weight? Length? Girth? Nice catch, but 10 pounder? Cmon man.
  22. Thanks you guys!!! Excited to get another hog!!!!
  23. Yesterday evening was breezy and heavily overcast. Went to my private lake in Virginia and got an 8 pound 3 oz. bass and then 15 minutes later, an 8 pound 13 oz bass on the frog!!! Also landed a 3 pounder on frog.
  24. Killer!
