  1. If you normally fish this way with braid only maybe a bit more diligence is needed to get the bait straight. If I am using a leader off a braid main line I have been known to use a ball bearing swivel to connect the leader to the main line. It's out of sight to the have and solves any spin and twist issues.
  2. I think, where can I find an explanation of each Reaction's symbology? I'm not very smart.
  3. Weird or just paranoid? I hate to stereotype but those who understand the least about information sharing and web related commerce are the most skeptical. Those who have the least are probably the most protective of the little they have. Don't take that wrong please!
  4. I did that after divorce 30 years ago. That's the only time I could afford it! Ouch, I get a severe pain in my right hip just thinking about that now! Enjoy!
  5. Congratulations Michael!! Your hard work has obviously been recognized and it sounds like a great place to work. What is it you folks do! Now get you some line and spool that thing up. There might be a thread or 2 discussing what line to use on that New toy. Adjust it and have fun!
  6. Love the Bourbon Trail!
  7. Zahra Spook... ...but I may have to try one of those expensive lures Wagster showed. Probably going to need a faster reel to keep it on top though!
  8. Thank you for the motivation!
  9. Some nice turning young man!
  10. Glad the important part worked out well, you're ok! Be safe, the gear is replaceable!
  11. Wow is all I can say about that 12poundbass! I think anyone who has been on Lake Michigan or lived near it would find that an astounding fact!
  12. You sir, are da man!
  13. Tremendous! Some of the best memories you will ever have!
  14. Buy 1 good spinning rod, used of course AND 1 good baitcast reel. You will be glad you learned the virtues of each! BTW Riingo, welcome to the forum sir!
  15. Just to show my complete ignorance... ...does that represent an extremely rich fish population?
  16. First of all, welcome to the Forum. Sarcasm and smart also responses will never be heard around here! Although I have never tried to fish mining ponds it sounds like a good place to try sinking swim baits, crank baits and maybe try a little drop drop shot due to the shear walls. I am just an inexperienced baby 'round here but I am sure the more knowledgeable folks will chime in shortly. Welcome Dhoff, enjoy the stay!
  17. That should be everyone Michael!
  18. WIGuide, can I get a second bottle for a nominal handling fee? What a DEAL!
  19. I am sure they will get some play time eventuality. There's some good fishing in your neck of the woods Mike! There's no reason Dottie can't have a hitch to tow my aluminum rig around the country. 516 inches will pull it just fine. That's my plan anyway. Independent front suspension, AC, Cruise. Going the modified route!
  20. I can relate, that's what I thought... Dottie Rae, she's a 1969 Dodge Dart GTS. Have a GREAT day!
