  2. Those are underwear!
  3. I had never done any Bass fishing. Did a fair bit of salt water fishing while stationed at Camp Lejeune but when sent to NAS Jacksonville for a few months one of the guys at work told me the St John's river was pretty good. Had a really good day and have been hooked since. I still have that spinner bait in my upper lip I guess!
  4. Nighthawk Shadowhawk Commander 9mm 1911 Sig Sauer P229 Legion 9mm Ammunition from IMI
  5. She's been amazing for about 3 weeks since surgery. Right now limitations no lifting >3lbs, no bending and no twisting at all. She feels so good she's bored silly. Hopefully the Dr will loosen up her limitations a bit tomorrow. I have a new Dobyns rod and a Stradic set up for her so she's anxious to get on the boat! I just pray that it lasts.
  6. Yes sir, fox were always after my chickens when I lived in KY! They were easier to keep out than the skunks though.
  7. A question for anyone having been through one... My lovely wife has been suffering for years with sciatica and it continued to get worse until she felt like she had a softball in her hip joint. I thought she needed a hip replacement. She's been on a regimen of muscle relaxers, gabapentin and oxycocdone for a year and pretty much not able to do anything because of the pain. After my impatience with 2 or 3 doctors they finally sent her to another spine surgeon who performed this lumpectomy in about 3 hours. Long story short, she woke up, asked for a cup of coffee and to go home. No pain meds, no discomfort since surgery. She is limited movement and looking to do some PT starting next week. My question is: Is this a normal outcome or are we especially blessed? Does this last very long before reoccurring. I ask because the Dr. Will tell you what he wants you to hear. I was just curious because it sounds like some of us are of the same advanced age we are! Thanks for your experiences fellas!

  11. Believe it or not I am going to get in line with the Senko craze. I am kind of embarrassed to admit that this is the first year I have ever bought a bag. I guess I'm a little slow to try new things!

You have a few issues to deal with, 1. You are a minor and your Mom said NO! 2. You live in part of the country with VERY restrictive firearm regulations. 3. You need to take a Hunter's Safety Course. (Check with local Friends of the NRA rep. 4. After you have done those you must remember, your Mom said NO! I would suggest you get some training and then address the issue again with Mom. After she has seen you are serious and have made some effort she might reconsider. I would give some thought to a Taurus Judge for a firearm. It would allow use of .410 shotgun shells or .45 Long Colt Ammunition that will be more than capable of bear protection with a good hollow point cartridge. A cheap Alaskan type holster from Uncle Mikes would keep it centered on your chest for access. most important - 1. get some training! And 2. Don't ignore Mom! Be Careful!
  21. I did it years ago and it worked very well. I'm not sure about removability however. You'll have to get pretty creative!
  22. Do you guys always use a ball bearing swivel and bead?
