  1. I have the 2500 BG and that thing is butter. Great reel.
  2. I use a Palomar with 2 wraps. Never had an issue in the weeds.
  3. I would use it for 3/8-1/2 oz swim jig and trailer and 1/2 oz wake rats. The Mojo handles these applications well. So i'd hate to swap it out if the Tatula just doesn't cover the applications well enough. Like i said, the HF is one bad mother of a rod and I cant say enough good things about it. Was hoping the MHF was just as good. @FryDog62 I would throw it on a HF just to get off the upper threshold of the rod rating and my own peace of mind. Some rods can handle it, some can not.
  4. How do you like the 7'2" MHF ?? The HF has quickly turned into my favorite rod. Was seriously considering upgrading my 7'1" Mojo to the MHF Tatula.
  5. Ohhhh you said baitcasting and spinning reels. Whatever you do,DO NOT open that email. As for oil i have the Quantam Hot Sauce. It works for me.
  6. Martens ruins it for me lol. Should have had a 1-2 finish with the 40 point kicker!
  7. Very similar experience with me. I have been there so many times that i used to go just to grab some hooks and BS with some of the guys. A lot of the smart ones have since left and the kids they have now can't answer simple questions straight. No longer as personal as it once was and twice the hassle. It's a shame.
  8. As a Mass resident and fellow pond fisherman, the vegetation gets out of control up here in the summer.Lots of muck, pads, chestnuts and milfoil fo deal with. I would suggest at least 7' MHF setup while playing in this junk.
  9. Its some good line. I started using it for swim jigs and the Spro rat. im using a 6'8" MXF spinning rod with 20# braid for my topwater stuff.
  10. The BPS in Foxborough carries both Daiwa spinning and casting in store but not as heavy as the Shimano selection. Most of the things you would want to buy are only available online or constantly out of stock. Tackle Warehouse is the way to go.
  11. Booms for me are the Rage Tail Rage Bug, Spro Rat 30 and the ever so trusty wacky rigged Yum Dinger. Busts are hands down the hollow bodied frog and soft paddle tail swimbaits. Not a single fish on either one this year so far.
  12. i have Fieder and Palaniuk 2 and 3 right now.
  13. Swim jig and craw. Or a wacky worm
  14. My mom already said I was a star though. ?
  15. 200$ I'd be looking at an Avid,Avid X,E6X or a Tatula rod.
  16. If you want a good co-poly check out Yo-Zuri Hybrid.
  17. I like to target the big girls. I'd personally rather catch one 4# fish than four 1# fish. A 2.5# bass is a quality fish in my book though. They can't all be bigguns.
  18. I've been catching them pitching beaver baits and the Spro rat. That's it. Can't get hit on a frog, swim jig or anything else.
  19. Picked up some 40# Daiwa J-braid x8. The 40 has the same diameter as 50# 832. Time to find out what this stuff is made of as ill be pitching heavy cover and lots of stumps with it.
  20. I had 3 guys in the top 25 at 3:00. Then JVD goes from 11 to 93. Go home Basstrak your drunk.
  21. Anyone say put toilet paper in your tackle bag yet?? Well, don't forget the TP!!
  22. Have learned a ton here. Can't imagine a day without BSing with all you guys. I truly look forward to everything i havent learned yet. Thanks for everything and then some Glenn and Keri.
  23. Kicking myself for not pulling the trigger on Latuso.
  24. I'm staying pat 66 lbs 7oz. You just got Price is Righted
  25. I'd post a picture if I could. Picked up some Rage Bugs in blue bug,1/4oz tungsten worm weights,4/0 Owner Jungle hooks and a 3/8oz punch rig in devil craw from @Siebert Outdoors. Once again, thanks for the great products Mike.
