    Even some of the less obscure colors are going for 5.66.Price gouging at its finest.Right now I'm sitting on about 70 individual baits.I figure 140-180 fish worth.I'm not worried about running out yet lol.

    I'm strictly bank fishing as I haven't a boat.I throw any and all skirted jigs 1/4 to 1/2 oz depending on what I'm throwing it into.Add 1/3 oz for a nice beefy creature.Ill swim a flipping jig,Pitch a swim jig.As far as I'm concerned I haven't found a wrong way to fish them.Some come through cover better than others but hasn't stopped me yet

    I have a hoard of the 3".I'm going to buy as many as I can find.The Powerbait ones have that stink.Ill try them when I run out of these.Hopefully that won't happen.

    IPT is more important than ratio.my 7.2:1 Curado is slower than my BPS PQ. 7.1:1.

    Step it up to 40# braid.You'll see the difference.I assume you not throwing 20# on a super shallow spool. Just got 13# defier for my topwater setup!

    No way that guys in high school ? Mass state record of just under 16 I believe.Biggest I've caught was 7 and that was out of a small pond.I can't imagine pulling a 16.I was shaking like a leaf with the 7.

    Sometimes when the bite is slow the turtles like to chase my frog around.So I catch myself playing fetch with the turtles for a half hour. I also have a habit of catching bullfrogs with the pad crasher.Cannibalistic frogs

    I spooled the rest of my PP from my Orra winch to my PQ so I could use the faster reel for frogging and use the winch for cranking.I sense a new Falcon Bucoo in my future.

    Yea its the same exact thing Pond won't freeze out here.I may take the new reel out for a test drive and get it dialed in!Not sure how much action ill get flipping and slow rolling some jigs but a man has to try.

    I got this V&M slip n jig in my LTB a few months back I haven't tried out.Its either 1/2 or 3/4 skirted Punch weight.I don't know if anyone has tried them.Basically a skirted heavy t-rig.
