Went to a pond in Norfolk 75% locked. Not a bite.Pulled off to greens pond in Franklin 20% locked and got stuck in the snow on the side of the road! Left instead of fishing it.I just want to catch a fish already. However got to play with the new mojo bass spinning rod for a little bit!
Decided to finally organize my terminal tackle.I used a BPS 360 box and used a Zerust divider on every other slot.I wrote hook size and weights on small pieces of cardboard to keep everything identified.I was tired of the mess and digging around to find a hook I needed. How do you guys keep your bits and pieces in line?
So i was at BPS today to check the 6'8" MXF out today.I paired it up with a Daiwa BG 2500 and that setup was amazingly light and balanced. That BG was super smooth too.It will be mine.Im going to pick up the pair next week!
Great rod for a great price. The BLS get a TON of love on this forum.Throw a 7.3:1 Tatula CT on there and you have a great frog/flip/pitch/swimjig/light swimbait rod
Stick to 4-5 good setups that pull 2X duty. That is an attainable goal. You'd have to bag groceries/flip burgers for 2 years to attain your list.Having 15 setups, while as fun as that sounds. Is a bit overkill and you'll save a ton of money.
Ive fished the Falcon and the Veritas.Veritas runs heavy.I liked both rods.Cant go wrong either way really.I liked the Falcon a little better as i felt it was a little more sensitive than the Abu.
