  6. Take that 7.5:1.Getting a newer and lighter PQ for 49$ is a good trade off.
  7. After tuesday nothing but mid 50's.Its right around the corner! I too have been skunked all 4 times ive gone out.
  8. 1st combo i ever bought.Only reason im nor still using it is i broke the rod in the door and i took the reel apart and wrecked the main shaft. It was still going strong after 4 seasons. If your just starting with baitcasters id recommend it for sure.If you have experience with them already,id suggest upgrading to something better.
  9. If your bank fishing around a lot of trees from tight spots,or what i refer to as "combat fishing" opt for a 7'-7'3" HF rod,and a reel with an IPT about 30 give or take.Spool it with 50-65#W braid depending on how heave of cover your fishing.Grab a few Booyah Pad Crashers (black, white and a bullfrog) and you'll be on your way.Hands down my favorite way to fish.Nothing like a frog blowup! Oh and use the 2 second rule. When that frog gets hit, count to 2 then jack em up!
  10. Nothing wrong with Storm at all.
  11. @Glenn did you Jacob Wheeler fishing as a sponsor????
  12. I used to love my Green Terror and my Convicts. Both were pretty mean.I cant tell you how many other cichlids i added to the tank just to find them dead the next morning.Ive thought about starting a new tank with either some Jack Dempsy or Parrots.
  13. Grab yourself some Yo-zuri Hybrid as you can get a 600 yard spool for 10 bucks(5.00 on clearance at Walmart sometimes).Or pony up and get some Sunline Shooter/Assassin and be done with it.
  14. My A and E brackets are different.I went with Tharp and Wiggins
  15. Black Black/blue Watermelon/red Green pumpkin
  16. Lets get this party started! Been a long months wait
  17. 7'1 MF St.Croix LTB 7.3:1 Tatula SV/30# PP A really nice all around setup that comes in at mere 11.2 oz.
  18. Another vote for frogging and light flipping.
  19. 7.x:1 or 8.x:1 That Exceler is 6.3:1 and will work fine though.
  20. And I just got done saying that I was done buying for a while.Looks like I lied to myself again. That thing is going to be killer spring through fall.
  21. I heard the chartreuse perch color makes a "mooooo" sound. In all seriousness its a good question.I never really thought of it.
