Ive never used the SCII but i own 2 St.Criox Mojo SCIII.One spinning one casting.Sensitivity is fantastic. The 6'8" spinning weighs 3.9 oz.The 6'10" is a mere 3.7 oz.Awesome rods for 130$.I can say for sure those wont be my only 2 Mojos.
No snap.It pauses and suspends almost vertical when I reel it down, then rises slowly at the same angle.Like I said all of my others like the Cutter 110 and the Pointer 78 suspend horizontally before rising.Thats what threw me.It looked off.
Found SK 1/2 oz tungsten for 1.50 which I grabbed, and the had eagle claw split rings size 3 for 10 CENTS a bag.I like my Hyper rings so I passed on them. They have the PP Super Slick 8 at 15.00 still.
Thats an awesome deal!! I would have bought a few too.Do a search of the rod on the forum, and you'll see fast that they get a lot of love around here.Worth the 50$ an absolute steal at 9$
So I took the Vengeance out for the first time today. Before I even put it in the car I looked down and noticed the hook keeper was falling out of the wrap.I pulled it out and hooked to the reel.It fished fine and wasn't uncomfortable to fish with.I will say I don't really care for the full EVA grip aesthetically. But seems to be worth the 20-30 you can get them for.
