  4. BR Quabbin tournament.Pair up,teams picked from a hat. 100 bucks a team.Top 2 or 3 paid out depending on how many teams are in.Either 3 fish limit or lunker decides winning team.No sonar.Whos interested?? Say....September.

  11. I don't have an absurd amount of tackle.I too have what works in every color I need.I just gave a kid at work a ton of stuff I'll never use or didn't like.Even sold him one of my rods.Im in downsize mode.I can only carry so much and can only throw one at a time.
  12. My backpack.Usually two 360 boxes of lures i need, one 360 box that has my terminal and a hand full of plastics.
  13. All 3 have SCIII graphite.Avid had Fuji Alconite guides and reel seat and weighs 4.2oz.Avid X had Kigan guides and Fuji reel seat, comes in at 3.8oz.The Mojo Bass has Kigan guides and Fuji reel seat, weighs 3.8oz.The Avid costs more than the Mojo, but i havent fished it to say its better. If it were me picking between the 3 based on simple specs,it would come down to,are the alconites worth the extra 60 for the Avid? The weight reduction would make me take the Avid X over the Avid, and the similar components between the X and the Mojo, would make me go with the Mojo for 60 bucks cheaper.Just my 2 cents though.
  14. 6'8" MXF St.Croix Mojo bass.Amazing rod for 130.00.At your max budget your probably going to get alot of Avid or Avid X responses.
  15. Straight braid actually. Its Also my worm rod.The old rod had 13# Sunline defier armilo.

  20. The tip kit is about 6.00.It only takes a couple minutes. If you can light a lighter, you can re tip a rod.

  23. Its called inflation buddy.Basic economics.Im sorry a business can't give you for the same price they could 15 years ago.If the 4 bucks is breaking your bank i'd try something else. Not sure why you felt the need to openly brand bash over minimal cost issues.
  24. I use straight braid and no leader on my weightless wacky rig.I have never noticed any kind of diminished action whatsoever. I also have no problems with hook ups or gut hooks using a size 1 hook.
