  1. I use FastStone Photo Resizer- its a free software
  2. I use the Fiskars kids scissors also. I have a couple of the "braid" scissors also and there is no difference in performance.

  4. Another slow catching day even though the water temp got up to 57 degrees this afternoon and started out at 51 degrees. Only caught them on a Rat-L-Trap and weedless wacky rigged Trick worm.
  5. That is correct Froggin. Same HP restriction as Briery Creek and Nottoway. I rarely fish the shoreline there.
  6. My last fiberglass bass boat was a Javelin. All the small wires at the bow are hooked to the starting battery unless the previous owner used one set of the battery wires for something other than the trolling motor. You should have 4-6 ga. wires going to the trolling motor plug-2 red and 2 black. Do you still have the 12/24V OMC trolling motor? The original plastic drain plug has a keeper on it will keep it hanging from the drain when it is unscrewed.
  7. I'm thinking the three holes are two for livewell drains and the other is bilge drain. That is why I asked for the boat information. With two screened openings it may have two separate livewells.
  8. Some more simple (stupid) questions, what is the brand/model, motor horse power, and what is the age of the boat?
  9. http://www.stay-alive.com/index2.html All you need extra is a three way switch to select manal, off, and automatic.
  10. Go to this site and download the conversion chart. Of course nothing beats an accurate scale. http://www.rodrule.com/Rodrule1004/Conversion_Charts.html
  11. A 21" nothern strain bass is approximately 5 1/2 pounds
  12. Thanks Catt, I didn't know that and wouldn't have suggested it if I did. My alternate suggestion would be a Fisher- I know they have aluminum decks- my first two bass boats were Fishers. For the best high speed performance, the Express would be the best choice. The most annoying thing for me when checking out aluminum bass boats is the lack if true dry storage. Some have it and some don't.
  13. Just put a valve on the fill pump line to regulate the amount of water the pump puts out. You can also just put a simple restriction at the point where it puts water in the livewell to slow it down.
  14. While you are looking at aluminum boats, check out the G3 Eagles.
  15. LAsports, the best advice you can get for your question is "wider is better" I have the 170 and if I have a person that weighs 250 with me and he moves from one side to the other, I have to be aware of the weight shift. I weigh 175.
  16. Solar chargers. For those expecting some miracle for those panels, try this. Figure you have 1/2 run down a 100 amp hour battery and need to regain 50 amps. Look at the amp output of a solar panel and divide that into the 50 amps you need to recharge the battery to see how long with will take. Remember, for the longest battery life, a battery needs to be fully recharged shortly after use. The 15 watt 12V solar panel in the Harbor Freight catalog puts out 1.25 amps which would take 40 hours of sun exposure to recharge the 50 amps you need to recover the battery.
  17. I have the most success with a Super Fluke using a weighted swimbait hook in 1/16 oz. or 1/8 oz. With the regular Fluke, I just use a Texposer hook.
  18. A wacky rigged finesse worm along a major breakline.
  19. In my experience the line type makes a difference if you think it makes a difference. If you think it doesn't make any difference, it doesn't.
  20. Bob, I use a Chatterbait to get a slower horizonal presentation than possible with a spinnerbait for cold water.
  21. If you fish deep enough to get overlapping cove angles, you will get cross talk if both units are on the same frequency and the same ping speed. It will also happen to units on different boats if they are close enough. A very narrow cone angle or shallow water is the only way to lessen the affect.
  22. The catching was tough today. The water in the areas I usually fish was muddy but got up to 52 degrees this afternoon. I did manage to catch a few though on a spinnebait, Chatterbait, and Trap.
  23. IMPY03, it's ONLY going to be 73 there tomorrow and mostly sunny. I guess I'll just force myself to pick on them ole bass. I want to give the Tracer line a little more workout.
  24. Sensation is described as a "MULTI-POLYMER FORMULA"
