    I haven't used the St Croix rods, but I really like the Veritas line. Light, sensitive, well balanced. They do seem to run a bit heavy as far as their power rating, so keep that in mind.

    Lew's Wally Marshall pro series. 7' ML and around $40-50. This is the second year using mine and I absolutely love it. I get a lot of compliments when other people use it as well. Seems everyone loves the feel of the rod.

    Berkley fusion is my favorite. Beats gamakatsu by a long shot for me. Great heavy fluoro for the weedless.

    Lew's Wally Marshall pro series. 7ft ML. Good for 1/32-1/4. I used this all last year and it's my favorite spinning rod now. Normally priced at 40-50 bucks.
