  1. I'm trying to just get one all around rod that Im going to pair with a chronarch ci4. what ways would you say the st. Croix wins, if any
  2. In your opinion why do you think the seat is bad?
  3. And also, does anyone know anything about favorite rods? More specifically their rush rods. It's hard to find unsponsored reriews.
  4. What do you think is better the st. Croix legend tournament bass or the dobyns champion xp? please say what you think is better and why you think it's better.
  5. I know that most people would say a 7 foot medium heavy fast action rod is the best all around rod for bass fishing. this would be easy, but companies all have different standards. what would be the best for all around? a stiffer medium heavy which would be a heavy in g. loomis's standard or a medium heavy g. loomis which would be medium in st. Croix's standards. these are just a few, please say what your choice for the best all around rof would be.
  6. I was thinking about a st. Croix legend xtreme
  7. Around 450 and under. maybe a bit more if needed.
  8. If you had to chose between any reel of any brand what would the most versatile reel that can be used in all waters be? or your top reels.
  9. So would the sv103 be more versatile than the zillion sv tws?
  10. Are the only differences between the st. Croix legend xtreme and st. Croix legend elite the price and handles? which one is more versatile and has a better feel?
  11. Also how does the old daiwa TD Zillion 100SHA comare to these? I hear it was pretty good.
  12. I've been looking for a reel to use in both freshwater and saltwater. I've been looking at the daiwa zillion tws and zillion sv tw. they seem the same but one has the sv concept and one does not. what are the differences and which one would be able to cast a variety of heavy and light baits. I'll be pairing it with the legend xtreme I'm getting.
  13. Yeah, I'm more comfortable with left. also on bass pro it says that the metanium can be used in fresh and saltwater, so that's why I've been confused.
  14. Everytime I make a post on here I get more nervous about picking the right baitcasting reel, so let's hope this is the last time for a bit. I am going to start using baitcasters after years of using spinning setups. I am going to buy a st. Croix legend xtreme casting rod. medium heavy fast action for all around fishing. for the reel I wanted to use something that can keep up with the rod, and also one that can be used in saltwater. I was thinking about the shimano metanium mgl, but I wasn't if that reel would be the best for the rod. please leave your thoughts and suggest any other rods and reels.
  15. Oh, I didn't realize. on the basspro site it says that the reel could be used for both fresh and saltwater.
