  2. The fenwick hmg in med light or a dobyns fury med or maybe a powell inferno in med
  3. Can't decide between these 2 rods so I am asking you guys which one you would pick has anyone fished both rods and which is your favorite and why
  4. I have been looking at these 2 reels and cant find anything comparing the two has anyone used both which would you go with and why?
  5. Has anyone fished these rods if so what do you think about them? Which do you guys think would be a better choice? I have heard great things about both but can't decide on which rod to get.
  6. Mainly smallmouth in creeks or largemouth in mainly open water. 6-12 lb line none of the lures will be heavier than 3/8 of oz.

  8. What line do you prefer for finnesse and drop shot straight fc or braid with fc leader for sensitivty
  9. I have never really fished finnesse before so what lure weight rating do you guys prefer?
  10. So I should go with x fast or fast tip and base my decision on lure weight rating instead of rod power? My medium heavy is rated at 1/4-1 Oz.
  11. My medium heavy is a fenwick eagle and I definitely like it for the price. 99 isn't to much I was actually willing to go a little over that for a good rod

  13. I may have to reconsider the powell as they only make one peice rods and transporting them may be a problem Anyone who prefers medium light?

  15. The rod that I am looking at is the powell inferno. from what I have heard it is a great rod for the price.

I am new here and have looked at other threads but they have not really answered my question I already own a medium heavy spinning rod but would like another rod for finnesse and smaller plastics and dropshoting I fish for WV largemouth and smallmouth we don't have many giant largemouths like in some other parts of the country considering the conditions what do you guys think the best rod would be.
