There's the 3rd grip rod holster but it's been discontinued. It's good for a 2nd rod without having to set anything down. Socal surf fisherman love them. If you ever see any, make sure to grab them.

I tend to fish local city ponds that are super pressured so finesse works well for me. I also don't catch a lot of fish so I like the excitement of the fight that ultralight rods give.
I've been using 6# YZ Hybrid and 7# Sunline Sniper for a couple years with no issues. I've also used the same line to catch halibut and saltwater bass. I haven't had a fish break off in 2 years.
