  1. Yes I have tried fotball heads,but was searching for a few other designs that may be out there.I will give the yamamoto ones a try. Them jigs from dirtyboyjigs look intresting.How does the paint hold up?and hows there shipping response?
  2. How did that skirt expander work for you? What a great idea get your copper wire out of an electric motor so simple!
  3. When Im fishing an area with a few weeds I will eliminate the sure set hooks I feel that the tend to hook more of the weeds floating and standing in the water!
  4. When I started jigging I used a 3/8 ounce,I felt that it was easier for me to feel the bottom and really pay attention to what I was doing.The next challenge that came was hook up so I started trimming the fiber gaurd and its been all jigs since.And Power pro is a great way to help feel what going on below! Try a few different jig type till you find the one you like and stick with it. I prefer All-Terrian tackles Weed master jig It comes thru the weeds ok and ive had no problem when ordering them!

  6. What about head design? Is there any type that are less prone to snagging in boulders,rock or any other hard bottom.Ive givin a few types a try but it always seem to come back to whats the bottom like. Just lookin for info on making jig fishing more user friendly!
  7. My most effective lure is a T-rigged tube!!
  8. I have used this color mostly on smallmouth but in the fall we gave it a try on a few different lakes that have largies and it did rather well.

I broke down and bought one of them in october the water temp was 39 degrees.I tryed my goto baits with no luck, so I put on this silly lookin jig and won our last event of the season.3 of the fish were over 4lbs.Id say they work on largemouth cant wait till spring and see what they do on smallies!
  10. Icatch more fish on dingers than senkos! There cheaper! most of my bass over 5 have been on jig n pig!Large and smallmouth.
