My friends tell me that i have a good pitching rod but tht i need a jig rod what is the difference cause i thought my rod was a jig rod but it was especially good at pitchin and flippin. by the way my rod is a lews custom speed stick magnum 7'4 heavy with a *** *** 8.1:1

Hey Im trying to find me a flipping and pitching rod and reel. i was looking at the Shimano Caenan and Pflueger Supreme for reels and Lews TP-1 Speed Stick and Johnny Morris carbon lite. I have done some research but I'm not sure so if you could give me some feedback on some good rod and reels for flipping and pitching that would be very helpful. ( I'm aiming for a low price point)
