  1. Due to delivery issues my dad forced me to refund the Castaway invicta but i learned that i can buy jdm rods domestically for an fair price. And im currently in a dilema of what rod to get. Here are my choices 1.Megabass orochi xx tour versatile 2.Deps sidewinder entry 3.Megabass orochi tripple x super orochi 4.Megabass orochi tripple x matt bucker type l 5.Megabass levante "japan limited" Extreme mission type f 6.Megabass Racing condition world edition 72H 7.Shimano JDM zodias 72H 2pc 8.Jackall Nero 72H 9.Megabass destroyer phase 3 power play f6-67x Also i would like to pair it up with my battle worn FX68 viola and also get some tackle with the rod. Any thoughts on what to get?
  2. While i was looking at a tackle shop and looking at the various Megabass,Deps,Fish arrow and JDM tackle i stumbled on a Packaging of pine shrimp that says "LAKE POLICE" but with the jackall Logo. I asked the store owner why does the packaging says Lake police despite being jackall. Sadly he didn't have an idea why. Anyone has an idea why some jackall lures has the "LAKE POLICE" name?
  3. Instead of going to major retailers, try to use amazon or ebay. Thats where i got my first Baitcatser which is an Daiwa aird and a Lauguna casting rod which was like 90 bucks. And alsso you can get some other brands like Abu quatum lews for a slightly cheaper price from the retail. The daiwa aird is an good reliable reel and thanks to its Magforce Z braking system it should be slightly easier and faster to adjust your brakes. Also i tested the aird on saltwater and even took it for a swim at the michigan streams and still its perfect with no maintenance. They are many options out there so choose wisely and good luck.
  4. The places where i fished alot, bluegill was there main forage and i even saw a bass that choked on a bluegill. So my lures were choice to imitate a bluegill was an Keitech swing impact bluegill flash with an Kietech bluegill flash swim jig,An B and B or Grn pumpkin pit boss, or an green pumpkin jig with an Green pumpkin 4inch pit boss. What are your other lures you threw to imitate a bluegill/sunfish?
  5. Instead of getting the Irod air. I decided to go buy the Castaway invicta 6 6 JWR which it is currently in clearance 30% off. For first impressions rod looks very polarizing due to its green blank and its orange winn grips which reminds me of an carrot stix. And the rod only weighs 3.7 oz which suprised me. Anyways any owners or ex owners of this rod and any words to say about this rod or your experiences?
  6. So that kinda explains why the ALX is only 5.5 ounces for an aluminum framed reel.
  7. I noticed the more i fished with my FX68,the more grooves it had. I heard this issue is common with the t wing reels, especially the T3 series and thoughts or advice on the grooving issue?
  8. Hi for my B day i am soon buying a Irod Air 7 Heavy for Jig and worms. But i ran into a problem. I cannot decide what to choose, A shimano Cronarch MGL or an Revo ALX. I am planning to use 14-15 pound fluro or 30 pound braid. Which one should i pick?
  9. Hi there..it has been half a year since i came here and i would like to reintroduce myself. I am 17 and i used to be in the USA and currently moved to S Korea. I plan to be more active here. Thank you and have a nice day.

  11. Im looking for JDM reels because Korea is like next door to japan and theres easier acces to the JDM products. A Monobrick Viola. Its about 1500$(Exchanged) not sure if my pa will be willing to blast that much for me :/
  12. Doyo Coba???? lol no.
  13. Thanks man and looks like i found my Reel i want. Found a Megabass FX60 Viola and a Megabass FX60 Rossa for 150$ at there online store on sale. JDM city here i come.
  14. Any of ya here tried the Shimano scorpion(Might try the Old scorpion DC) Im planning to pair it up with a Denali Roseweed 6 MH Dock casting rod(which not sure if the rod is going to be okay with multi purposes)
  15. So guys any thoughts on Megabass reels or the Shimano IDC reels?
  16. My dad asked me what thing i wanted from korea and i asked him for a baitcaster. He told me to tell him the Brand name and model of the reel i want. So you guys have any suggestions or opinions of what should i go for?
  17. So heres the nail in the coffin to your answer... 1.Zoom Super salty Fluke 2. 3/0 4/0 Gama,Eagle,Trokar ETC EWG Offset hooks, Weighted and Unweighted swimbait hooks work too. 3. The fluke is best for Warmer seasons and best fished in Mid summer. I would use the Jerk Jerk Pause Method. Cast your lure far away as you can then Let it sink for 3-5 Secs, then Jerk it 2-4 Times. Then let it fall again(This part is the where you will get hits on) So generally Work it like a Hard Jerkbait(X-Raps,Ito Visons ETC). 4. For clear water use the colors try Pearl White,Baby Bass,Bluegill and Arkansas Shiner. For Murky water Try Green Pumpkin,Any color that has a Chartreuse Tail and June bug. 5.Advice. Go out there when things get warmed up and try it out and have a good time:)
  18. Nice to hear. So what color did you buy and mind showing your catch with the Mayflies.
  19. The bait monkey strikes again. Made a midnight run to dicks and fished out BBB Warmouths in SS shad. At the front is says Made in the US meanwhile when turning it to the back and in small words it says Made in Guatemala.... Welp dont know what to say :I
  20. Sure will do. Now i need to figure out how to not get Hissed by other fishermen for releasing Bass back :I Might go for snake heads there which i heard from my pa they really explode on Frogs and fight really good.
  21. I reasearched and this is what i got. The Bass there eat similar forage to Japan and it consists of Trout,Bluegill,Baby carp,Minnows,Frogs,Crawdads,Ayu,Grass shrimp ETC. Looks like its not going to be that much different.
  22. Looks like a LC Slug go. I think just fish em like a Soft Jerkbait.
  23. So today i got news from my dad saying the family is moving to S Korea. I know S Korea has Largemouth and Bluegill as Invasive species and people complain that these 2 "invaders" are eating the native fish there. My pa jokes saying if you go fish in a pond with a bunch of bass your not going to catch carp there. Why? Because the bass ate all of em. The conditions and climate is Similar to Japan and basically bass are everywhere. Not sure what to use there and the conditions and enviroment isnt the same there. Asking advice what lures to bring with me along with gear. This is going to be interesting.
  24. I always steared away from super soft baits due to the durability and the high costs. I always relied on the cheaper stuff and let me be honest... I dont like em that much and they dont seem to catch fish consistently So one day i ran out of EWG hooks and i decided to use the VMC weightless Swimbait hooks on my last Senko. To my suprise the senko lasted pretty long like 5 fish. So i decided too try it on other weightless baits and wow They sure last longer for me. The screwlock keeper seems to prevent the Nose of the bait from Ripping which is the most vunerable part in Soft Lures So looks like im going for Quality instead of quality and not sure if my Hypothesis is true or not :I
  25. TW has some bulk packs you can buy. D bombs in 25cnt Senkos in 50-100cnt BBB crawtubes 100cnt BBB chunk 100cnt Berkley power worms 100cnt Thats all i know.
