  1. Maybe he’s in Japan with the Baitmonkey
  2. You said you weren’t going to mention A-Jay. You’ve said his name twice now. If you say his name one more time….well
  3. Glad you’re on your way to recovery.
  4. I’ve got it made. The wife likes to fish and I’m not ashamed to say her PB is bigger than mine. In the warmer months it’s often our date night. My son fishes with me on Saturday and Sunday (when I’m not working).
  5. You’ve never heard of Menderchuck Excavating? They’re a pretty big deal around these parts!
  6. Yup I didn’t realize this when I got mine, but they’re cheap enough it really wasn’t a big deal.
  7. Whatever it is it’s a cool looking pattern. I wonder how it would look on a crankbait.
  8. Translation: Lynn said no and put you in timeout ?
  9. I like that pattern, I’d keep it or send her back to the grocery store for more. ?
  10. Mr. Menderchuck eh? I expect that on the return address next time I place an order from the North Country Tackle Shop.
  11. Well they clean the mains and find weak spots and inconsistencies in the mains. I’d say this smart pig went a little overboard finding the weak spots. ? I joke about it knowing no one was hurt.
  12. I’d fly to the moon before I climbed a 32’ ladder and I used to do roofing and siding. ?
  13. I need to train the Baitmonkey to rob banks so I can buy some Vision 110’s.
  14. Wait, so you’re afraid to fly but you get up on those steep roofs to chase after critters?
  15. It is, especially since it isn’t a big soup bowl and has two other lakes connected to it.
  16. Just took a Sunday drive by what will be our new lake and I’d say we have 10-15% open water. The rest of the lake I’d guess will be open by the end of the week.
  17. The wife and I just sold our house on a lake (not a vacation home) this past fall. We were for the most part the only ones bass fishing. It was fun living on the lake and being able to walk out the back door and go fishing but we decided to cash out and build a house so we could have a basement and be able to expand. The lakes around here don’t leave you room to expand. My mom and stepdad had property on Big Bay de noc in Michigan’s UP when I was growing up. They sold because it seemed to be more work than anything. You go up there 6 or so hour drive, mow the lawn, clean up, get things set up, unpack, then you have a couple days to fish, then pack up, clean, close things up for a few months, and so on. Just not worth it in my eyes. I’d much rather get a hotel or an Airbnb and explore different lakes and scenery. That’s just me though.
  18. So there’s still plenty of ice. The big question, did you walk by, say hi, and drop a few waypoints? ? Judging by the color of ice and those clouds you’re on Lake Menderchuck. ?
  19. Not sure why we even bother making our bed. Are those ATV’s out there?
  20. I had a feeling that was coming my way from you. ? My dad has had a gorgeous lawn for since they built that house in ‘93 and he just had an irrigation system installed 2-3 years ago so it’s definitely doable without one, but I will say this, he was almost obsessive about watering it all those years. He did say after the first year with the irrigation system that he wished he had done it sooner! I’m going to get a quote for one but I don’t know if it’s going to be in the cards right away.
  21. With the house about done and the move in about a month I’ve been thinking about the future lawn. I’ll be starting from scratch, a clean slate. I’m in Michigan, the soil is sand but will have a fresh layer of top soil on it. The lot is mostly clear, but the back yard is full of what I believe are white pines (I’m not good at identifying every greens). I like having a nice manicured lawn, so how do I go about creating a nice lawn from scratch and what type of grass would be best for my region?
  22. I’ve always used my phone so I’ve never seen the top version. Geez I’m missing out. ?
  23. This is what we in the gas industry call a “crater maker” and it lived up to its name. This was on the east side of Michigan. Some of the videos of the dirt flying is pretty wild! I’ve been by a 60# main that was damaged and the sound and amount of dirt and rocks flying through the air was pretty wild! We locate distribution mains up to 300#. This was a 22” transmission main so it was over 300# and up to 1000#. Going off from the transmission mains we have around here I’m speculating this was 950#. From our conference call yesterday this crew was using what’s called a smart pig which is a device they run through the pipe to clean it and check for weak spots in steel gas mains. Thankfully no one was hurt or killed. https://www.wxyz.com/news/us-23-closed-in-both-directions-near-fenton-as-consumers-energy-investigates-gas-line-break
  24. Heck Mike, you raise your prices on Rage your prices will be on par with everyone else’s price from 5 years ago so don’t feel bad. ?
