  1. Mistakes happen, human error, computer error, etc. like the previous comment stated, it’s maybe a $15 inconvenience at most I’d assume? In my eyes it’s really not worth the frustration on your end or calling and venting your frustrations with a supervisor. At most I’d shoot an email stating what happened, the correspondence you’ve had about said frog, making them aware of the end result so they can look into to try and figure out what happened to try and prevent future issues in the future. Just my opinion. Congrats on the new frog! ?
  2. Bill Lowen saying yesterday was high 80’s and today a cold front is coming in, “I don’t thinks it’s going to get 75”. You poor wretched Bill! ? 20* when I woke up this morning.
  3. Forgot it was on. Thanks for the reminder.
  4. At least he gave the tournament anglers in SW Michigan a year to save extra money for their donations. ?
  5. @A-Jay takes protecting the location of Lake Menderchuck seriously.
  6. Two answer your other question, if you cast with your left hand a reel with your right you’d want a right handed reel. I’m left handed as well and cast with my left and reel with my right, like you do.
  7. Wild bore is absolutely amazing. I kinda wish we had them around here so I could hunt them and have wild bore on hand whenever. I know they’re very destructive so it’s not a bad thing we don’t have them.
  8. I’m no expert on this subject, but from my understanding, with the lower frequency your cone is bigger which we already know. What you’re seeing on the higher frequency is the same couple of fish multiple times coming in and out of the cone which is why you see the clutter on the right screen. The higher frequency has a smaller cone so this same couple of fish are in the cone less which creates less clutter. Also, the higher frequency pings faster than the lower frequency so it’s getting a return more frequently which also adds to the clutter and appears that there are more fish than there actually is.
  9. No crazy stories about retrieving a lure, I usually don’t care. That being said, I have gone after my boat! My son was maybe 5 or 6, he wanted to hold the rope while I backed the boat into a secluded lake. He wasn’t paying attention to the rope (neither was I to be fair) and I ran it over snapping the rope! I didn’t know it until I launched the boat and watched it float away! We were the only ones there and no houses on the lake so I stripped down to my undies, waded through knee deep muck for 50-60’, then swam another 50-100’ to get the boat. Thankfully it was a warm morning with a warm breeze so after about an hour of fishing in my undies, I was dry.
  10. I wasn’t asking what he thinks of the boat. ?
  11. The big question is, how’s the new boat? ?
  12. Souped up tranny and the drummer boy are in talks with the NFL about playing the halftime show at next years Super Bowl.
  13. I’ll have to dig up a box with your address on it and send you a couple just in case you have a change of heart.
  14. We didn’t move until May 13th and I didn’t start the lawn until early June. After reading a ton this fall I learned I was already doomed even though nothing had grown yet. You need to spread crabgrass prevention before the soil temp gets above 52 degrees. So I spent a few hundred dollars on grass seed and got a few patches of grass.
  15. I’m bouncing back and forth between three…. But, I’m going with a @Siebert Outdoors swim jig in sunfish color with a Rage craw trailer (rigged vertical of course).
  16. It’s funny all the 300hp toons I see on 200 acre lakes around here. One dealer around me has a twin 300hp toon for sale and the closest place to run that is 45 minutes away.
  17. Between working 60 hours a week, a new house, starting a lawn from scratch that turned into a crabgrass farm, a trip to the UP, then football starting the first of September until the end of October, left me with zero time to go fish. To be fair, we did fish from a bridge twice. My wife caught two smallmouth, and I went with my son twice to the river at the end of our cul de sac, but I don’t count those times because they were short trips.
  18. Looking over on the “latest sale thread” it appears that the Garmin Echomap units will be on sale at Bass Pro later this week.
  19. If you’re implying the same thing as the song then I’m glad you didn’t take a selfie. ?
  20. NORAD can track Santa all over the world on Christmas night. Surely they can track a balloon 90’ long as soon as it’s launched. ?
  21. I’m in the same area as your son and yesterday was just brutal! The last two days actually. I did some training with some of our new technicians and our customer. We were In Muskegon and next to the lake shore. The training lasted half the day and was outside. Took me a good couple hours to warm up. Friday I had another training for manhole entry first thing in the morning that lasted 2 hours. The windchill was 0. Last night it was 3 at 7pm. Thankfully these bitter cold snaps don’t last more than a couple days.
  22. I think the coldest I’ve seen around here was -20 actual temp.
  23. Sorry for your loss. This week will be a year we lost Charlie.
