I have two 93SV UHD Garmins. I’ve been extremely happy with Garmin and from what I’ve seen and researched, you get more bang for your buck compared to either of the competitors.
Hopefully this is her forever home. Seems her new family is quite familiar with the breed which is always a plus.
Good on you and Lynn for taking her back in and finding her a new home.
It’s hazy here in Michigan but not like the east coast. It does make for some really nice red/orange sunrises.
As far as rain…zip, zero, zilch. It’s been a month. They said the other day, the first three months of the year were the wettest on record, and the past three months have been the driest on record.
You said a beginning bass boat budget, I assume that means you’re looking to ease your way into bass boats and upgrade? If this is the case I wouldn’t go that route. Boats in general aren’t cheap. I’d go into it with the mindset that the boat you’re going to buy is a boat you’re going to keep for say a decade or possibly forever.
To better help answer your question more info is needed. How big of water do you fish? What’s your budget?
I took them to the river last night and bashed them off rocks for a while. They didn’t produce any smallies but they passed the destruction test so I wouldn’t hesitate to fish the squarebills of rocks.
Date night with Mrs. 12poundbass last night produced this 2lb 10oz smallie. I can’t take credit for the catch. She caught it, she just hasn’t warmed up to holding fish again.
We’re loving the action on the square bill. I was pretty bummed we didn’t have any takers on it yet but that’s entirely user error! ? In my defense I could use the excuse the wind was out of the east the whole weekend and we know how the saying goes.
