If I posted everything dumb I’ve done Glenn’s server would crash.

I did the exact same thing three years ago. I took my son and his friend fishing. They were on the fish, having a great time, then the TM all of a sudden quit. I was checking everything with no luck. I fire up the outboard and load the boat up. They were bumming big time! The next day I’m looking things over and see the switch on the foot control, flip it, and good as new! Looking back, they were taking turns running the TM and one of them must’ve hit the switch.

Maybe I don’t fish enough docks, maybe everyone is nice, or maybe I’m just lucky but I’ve yet to come across a dock owner that was upset with me fishing their dock.

63, 75, and 93” shafts! Sounds like the Garmin Kraken is geared towards multi species and salt water anglers. Still sounds like a cool trolling motor.

Adding to @MN Fisher they are quieter, weigh less, use less power.

I found some yesterday along side the road I was working on. There were only a couple ready to eat…they were good!

Too many people dismiss their PTSD. Here’s hoping everyone gets the treatment they deserve for a healthier and happier life.

Best bang for your buck in my opinion is the Garmin Echomap. Easy to use, good image quality, and you can make your own maps with just a cheap micro SD card. Humminbird requires a zero line card to make your own maps which if I remember correctly, will run you and extra $100+.

Surface temp 78 when we were out and they were out in force. They kept hitting within 10’ of the boat.

These things are becoming a regular catch for me this year. I don’t approve!

I’m with @J Francho, anything in a 4+ carrier I’ve yet to have issues. I don’t fish many Zebra muscle lakes so the only thing really fraying or cutting my line are pike.

Total ear worm! Gets stuck in my brain every time.
