I'm not a fan of it going back to Hartwell so soon. I do like that this years is later in the winter but don't like that there's 2 events prior to the classic. It makes it seem like it's just another tournament with just a bigger paycheck.
Must be they've changed over the years I used to have them on my golf clubs and as soon as they got wet they turned to slime. I know that's apples and oranges but it's the same company.
I'm not sure what kind of phone you have but until yesterday I had a small dinosaur and couldn't see it if I turned it sideways, now that I have a bigger phone and turned it sideways I can see it. I'm not a tech. person at all so that's my only input.
Ok I'm an idiot...I turned my phone side ways and I can see it.
I've had a major fart in my brain this week, with the circuit city deal and now not turning my phone sideways. ?
From what I've read it's a great unit! Very user friendly. I personally am going to go with the Helix 7si g2. I thought a lot about the striker 7sv but I want auto chart live. Had I not had a set back I probably would've went with the Garmin but now that the Helix G2's are out I'm getting a couple when I get the chance.
I don't know what to do about Tharp either. Every time I picked him last year he bombed. I wanted to pick him last we, but didn't want him to bomb. If I pick him he'll bomb in I don't pick him he'll probably win the whole thing!
I've always fished for largemouth and the lakes around me don't have smallmouth so when I saw a neighbors fish he got off from this bridge I gave it a shot. Man have I been missing out! The funny thing is I used to walleye fish when I was a kid up at big bay de noc and never tied into a small mouth. Here I am 33 yrs old and finally caught some smallies and hooked!
The closest body of water is about 5 miles as the crow flys. The river from what I've seen is about 3' at it's deepest and doesn't get wider than about 30-40'. The area I fish off this bridge is only about 75 yards long, so it's real hit and miss. The first time I tried it it was one right after another! Those fish are a ton of fun!
I know it'll take quite a while for the water to warm, but if we hit 60 degrees in Michigan in February everyone jumps for joy and thinks it's spring and since there's 8" of ice on the lakes I wanted to hit a river. Good to know though the smallies get active around 40 degrees.
I caught my first handful of smallies last year and now I have the bug! I live in central Michigan and have the winter blahs! This weekend is going to be almost 60 and I have the itch to get out. I caught the smallmouths out of a river (more like a stream) my question is are they in the rivers and streams this time of year or are they in the lakes? Thanks in advance!
I wouldn't do it inside your house not even the basement. I would keep your baits separated if you want them to turn out close to what they were before you melted them. If you don't really care mix them and see what happens. First things first be careful and never get too comfortable pouring you plastics. There are guys who have been pouring and injecting for years and get too comfortable and wind up burning themselves. If you haven't already check out Tackle Underground they have a soft plastics forum and there's all the info you'll ever need there.
