For the last 10 years or so it's been 100% baitcasting. After joining Bassresourse in October '16 I'm going to go buy my first spinning set up in a long time! Thanks BR for making me spend more money!
I'm guessing a lot of you are correct with the age thing here. We were that age once and we would drop anything for a woman, and if forums were popular back then we would probable seek advise from total strangers too. Not we're older and we know better than to ask a bunch of ANGLERS of all things relationship advise. We can't help you OP you have to figure this out on your own. Life is always going to throw you curve balls you just need to learn which ones to swing at. Good luck my friend.
Wayne is the Humminbird wizard! He's the Harry Potter of Humminbird! Just kidding Wayne. You really know your stuff and we all appreciate your expertise.
You have a year to save as much money as you can and collect all the cans along side the road ( if your state has deposits on cans). Great idea and I wish you safe travels in your adventure. I wish I would've thought about a trip like that when I was a senior.
I'm left handed and only use RH reels. I seem to have more control and strength in my left hand which is where all the heavy lifting and coordination is needed.
Exactly why the lakes I fish often require 4wheel drive and the launches aren't the greatest. One lake I frequent I haven't seen another human on it in 5-6 years.
I used to let little things and big things ruin my day or a good time. But certain life experiences at 19 years old changed the way I look at life and how I handle things. Rarely do I get mad, or let things get me down. Life's too short to let little things ruin a good time or an entire day!
I'm not familiar with the material used for 3D printing. How well do you think it would hold up after a bunch of heating and cooling?
Do you design your own molds or do you copy existing molds?
I could/would never ask for a certain location or give one up. Yeah I'd ask or give up a certain area (west side of lake) but that's it. That's the sport of fishing....figuring out where they are, when they're there, and what they want.
Like others have said the flippin' switch is pointless. I have the silver max and it's a good reel. Honestly I like the black max and pro max better than the silver max. Both just feel better to me than the silver max.
It's not done for good. I'm guessing he's out shooting next seasons episodes. It's just the long wait until the new season starts that's a bummer. Thankfully spring has sprung, the days are longer, and the fish are biting so time will fly.
I'm an Abu guy all the way. Sign up for their e-mail. 90% of the time their e-mails are junk but they sent me 4 e-mails about this sale. I didn't look through it because I'm tapped out. After reading these posts I wish I would've read earlier, I'd collect cans along the road to take advantage of some of the deals they had! Lol
Good to know. My wife caught one small mouth last Wednesday off a bridge and there's a possibility we'll get the boat out tomorrow night and go after the green guys!
