It's been a while since I've looked at that pic. Every time I do I say to myself "she is just a freak of nature". From the picture she doesn't appear to be very long. Maybe it's because her belly is gigantic, or maybe she is on the shorter side? Either way what a beast, and she obviously likes to eat! Here's a little experiment to think about for your next trip. Catch a smallmouth capture a picture, put it in the livewell for say 15, 30, or 60 minutes take it out and capture another picture and post the two pics for us to see the possible color change.

My dad is a huge John Force nut. He toured Force's shop he has in the Indianapolis area a couple years back. He'll be there next weekend. I'm not into it much anymore. I still like to watch once in a while. My son has caught the bug. Did your brother run Top Fuel? I might have heard of him. I was big into it from the early 90's to the mid 2000's.
