  1. Seems to work for @A-Jay it's my bed time though he'll be by shortly to show you the rewards of his hard work.
  2. He has 360 enough said it's been working. The proof is in the pudding.....? I'm starting to feel like @A-Jay agent.
  3. Not to step on @A-Jay toes but he doesn't have a MEGA so it would be cheaper. However the performance increase could very well be worth it.
  4. Fish are curious. Wayne P posted this a year or more ago. It's pretty interesting.
  5. Are you saying Johnny is the big player in the MLF tour/expansion?
  6. That's why I was asking. I didn't figure you'd run skinny water on plane. I sure as heck wouldn't. What is the current draft on your rig right now and what will it be capable of after the jackplate is installed? Something you mentioned that caught my attention was you said you have issues with SI unless you tilt the motor. Do you only get clean images from one side because of the motor being in the way? Is this a common problem for rigs without jackplates? You're right it would be a royal PIA if you have to tilt up every time you want to idle around and scan. I've heard people talk about but haven't gave it much thought since I currently don't have a boat or a unit I want to install it on....yet.
  7. Is the purpose of a jackplate to be able to run in skinnier water?
  8. My wife has these decorative signs all over our house that has quotes on them one in particular comes to mind "You don't know how strong you are until you have to be"
  9. There are a bunch of guys who own it including KVD. I believe Boyd Duckett was the one who came up with the concept.
  10. Awesome! Sounds like you might have won the lotto. From what I've read they are 2 or more months out because they were ill prepared for the popularity of the new motor. One thing's for sure the Pro-V bass is going to be even more sweet looking if that's possible.
  11. You are correct. It's going to be interesting to see what they come up with. Who would've thought their current format would be as popular as it is.
  12. Sounds like a win win win win win win and win for Mr. Morris Gee thanks for the tease Glenn. LOL
  13. Yeah this summer has been miserable here in Michigan, hot and very humid. Thankfully we're on day two of little to no humidity. Back to muggy tomorrow though and back to hot Saturday.
  14. I thought the bass were joining in on all the rage by us humans and getting tattoos all over!
  15. I'll bet you know more than you're revealing. ??
  16. I think someone on here caught a largemouth that was orange.... @Catt?
  17. I read it earlier today. Great write up @everythingthatswims
  18. That's exactly what I did when I was a kid ice fishing. Dump them down the hole. That's what I was told to do too. Well years later I learn it's illegal to do it, and of course I gave my step dad crap for telling me to do it. LOL
  19. You wouldn't think so, but I'm willing to bet you're not the only one using live bait around there so figure them in. Like someone mentioned before this is how some of the invasive species have found their way into lakes they aren't native to. I'm willing to bet it's illegal in your state, it's not the end of the world. I'd dump them on the ground and feed the coons and educate others about the risks of dumping non native fish into a body of water.
  20. The postal service delivers Amazon only on Sunday in our area. They're now taking pictures of packages as they're being delivered then email it to you. This is something new here for us. We have a Great Pyrenees, this breed is a flock guard dog and are supposed to be protective. Well mine is FIRED!
  21. Huh? I don't understand your question. By sensor do you mean the transducer?
  22. DV stands for DownVu and can only see down. It's basically like 2d sonar but with a picture like image. SV stands for SideVu which gives you an image off to both sides of your boat. I'd go with the Striker 7SV which will also give you DownVu. You'll be glad you went that route.
  23. I haven't watched a second of Live this week. I'm glad to hear the subject has come up. B.A.S.S was the Pioneer for catch and release and conservation so I hope this issue will be addressed in the off season.
  24. I've been reading a lot about a lot of dead fish at the Elite Series event due to them not fizzing their fish. I read Justin Lucas had 6 of 15 fish dead, and several others aren't fuzzing their fish! The penalty is only 4oz per fish (I believe). These guys are professional bass anglers and they don't know how to fizz a fish? To be honest I don't I've seen it don't but I'm not a professional angler and I haven't fished deep enough to need to. The videos I've watched it appears very easy and doesn't take long at all. This is very disappointing in my eyes. I'd like to know how many fish have died this week because these professional anglers didn't take the time to fizz their fish. B.A.S.S is always quick to show how the fish are cared for and the very very low mortality rate for their tournaments, I'd like them to show it for this one. I hope someone take notice of this issue and increases the dead fish penalty because it doesn't sound like it matters to them at this point.
