  1. Yes sir the maiden voyage. I’m going to launch her first in my lake. Then after getting acclimated to it I’ll probably go to the big lake across the road so she catch stretch her legs and she what it’s made of. I’ll report back on the maiden voyage Sunday or Monday.
  2. Then that’s pretty bad. Well water I hope?
  3. I was thinking earlier, this thread is all but done. Then I remembered we had snow in April last year. We’ll play it safe for another couple weeks, then say goodbye to this topic for 6-7 months. ?
  4. In my plumbing days I saw that frequently with galvanized water pipes.
  5. I always snooped for my Xmas presents as a kid. ?
  6. The G3 is getting loaded this week and getting wet Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Who knows maybe all three days.
  7. The rumors have been around for a month or two but seems to be ramping up. Could this be the feeder system for MLF/BPT? The timing does seem to be right with the start of the BPT.
  8. Are you sure you’re ready for your winter wonderland to go away for 6 months though? Lol
  9. ?”I’m dreaming of a white Christmas “ is that what you’re looking for? ?
  10. ^^^^this as long as they’re different frequencies you won’t have interference
  11. It’s just something you just have to deal with. It’s all due to your age. I started working at the lumber yard in my hometown when I was 15. I was put on the counter doing sales instead of working out in the yard like most kids. My first summer was rough to say the least. But through hard work and the willingness to learn I earned the respect of the other salesmen and most importantly the builders. By age 16 I was selling $100k in materials and age 17 I was doing north of $250k in sales. My point is keep your nose to the grindstone, keep doing your thing, and the respect will come. To echo @flyfisher a little thicker skin will help too. ?
  12. Nicely done! That’s a beast of a bass.
  13. 24 hours later I did. I had to wait for my son to get home from Florida. He would have killed me if I did without him. We didn’t catch anything. It’s pretty shallow out from my house 3-5’. I was really considering getting the boat out, mainly so I could say I was the first on the lake lol, but I’m not quite ready to launch it. I’m hoping this week I’ll get everything ready for a weekend launch. My lake and the lake across the road are completely open. The other lake less than a mile away is 70-80% open. My smallmouth lakes I’m not sure of, I’ll see one tomorrow and maybe hit that one this weekend.
  14. 3/8oz jig with brown/orange skirt
  15. 48 hours ago there was around 3 inches of ice at my dock.
  16. You can’t have too many rods! Keep ‘em and put them too work!
  17. I’ll take a picture tonight so you can see what a difference 8 hours of sun makes. Quite a bit has already melted since I took this picture. I’ll probably we a line tomorrow. I took yesterday and today off to reside our house and other honey do things.
  18. Looking off my back deck. Was completely covered 24 hours ago. We’re getting close.
  19. This topic has came up a ton since the BPT was announced. The answer is no he can’t fish it next year unless he fished the Elite series this year or qualifies through the Opens. The only exception that was made was a Cliff Pace years ago when he fell out of his tree stand and was medically unable to fish the Elites so they gave him a medical exemption.
  20. Are you sure about that? Luke Clausen comes to mind.
  21. Iced in here still. Hoping the rain this weekend will put an end to that.
  22. Throw the Florida Elite event in there with the Conroe and see what you get. These guys hammered them today. What little bit I got to watch today at lunch, I heard Marty Stone and JT joking around and one said #dinkfest and they both laughed. ?
  23. Congrats Nolan! I Always enjoy reading your write ups!
  24. But wait this is the dink league! lol
