That’s the experience I’ve had the two times I’ve went steelhead fishing here in Michigan. That was enough for me, too many crazy anglers in that group. I’m sure most aren’t, but I’ll stick to bass.

I could count on one hand how many channels get watched at our house too. There’s a channel callEd METV, they play old school shows. Last Sunday night there wasn’t crap on TV. I came upon this channel and the three of us watched a couple episodes of the Flintstones! My son (9) was glued to the tv, he didn’t know what to think. He said he liked it, we told him that’s what we watched growing up. I looked at the show info and saw it was from the 60’s. I never knew it was that old. Three words, Hong Kong Phooey

19* this morning, the wind is blowing good, making the windchill close to zero. Friday is a high of 40. I think I could tolerate the fluctuations like this all winter. The reality is we’re probably going to get dumped on, it’ll be bitter cold, and time will begin to stand still. Oh well.

I have the Onyx auto manual inflatable pfd. It’s pretty comfortable and I could easily wear it all day if needed.

That sucks. Hoping the drive isn’t far, but there isn’t squat around you. I always had to go an hour into Grand Rapids for mine and I’m not as far out as you guys are. Hoping Her down time is minimal.

This 430,000 square foot building went up in smoke last night. Ten fire departments responded. The fire will continue for another couple days. Last week there was a building that was over 120 years old that burned down. Our little towns aren’t used to this kind of action.
