  1. Those are made about 20-25 minutes down the road from me.
  2. Exactly what he said ^^^^
  3. I’m not a big fish eater. If I do eat fish I prefer walleye. Fish doesn’t get any better than walleye. I’d like to try crappie next year. I’ve yet to have it.
  4. Oh I know, I was a contractor for the BWL for 5 years. ?
  5. I’m going to quit reading this thread because thanks to some of you I will add Carolina rig, Ned rig, and Whopper Plopper to my ever growing list. ?
  6. Crankbait, drop shot, wacky rig, shaky head, and jigging spoon are the ones that come to mind. My name is 12poundbass and I need serious help! ?
  7. We ended up with around 3 inches of the white stuff. The lake is starting to freeze over again.
  8. I’ve been fortunate to have always worked the standard hours, so this is always hard to wrap my brain around. ? My BIL has done 2nd and 3rd shift over the years and has enjoyed a drink or two about the time I’m getting up. Just like when I’m heading in to work the bars are open and people are filling it (not now of course).
  9. I’m looking at getting the same unit so I’ll be following to see what you come up with.
  10. Do you have your graphs powered at the cranking battery and the trolling motor on it’s own battery?
  11. It’s the official beer of 12poundbass! ?
  12. I don’t have rod tubes in my locker. I typically don’t fish more than 3-4 hours at a time so I don’t get to the point where discomfort becomes an issue. I’ve never fished a boat with a TM foot tray so I don’t know any different.
  13. I just ordered some of these on the BF sale. I’m looking forward to trying them next summer.
  14. She got tired of carrying it around in her purse, so yeah.
  15. I looked into doing this on my G3, but from what I read from other G3 owners I can do it but my rod locker will basically be useless except for storing extra tackle.
  16. I have two older Garmin Echomap units, one is a 73SV and the other is a 73DV. I love the units, they are very user friendly and are basically a plug in play unit, meaning you can plug it in, turn it on, and it doesn’t really need adjustments to get good images. My only dislike is my units are the older ones that don’t have QuickDraw. I am seriously thinking about upgrading to the 93SV UHD very soon.
  17. Neither did I, that makes three.
  18. I’ve started my very own retirement collection this year when I retired a Pad Crasher I’ve had for over a decade I believe. I’ve caught a ton of bass on that frog, lost it a few times and went through hell to get it back. That’s my only lure at this point and probably won’t add to it for years to come but it’s fun to look at it and reminisce.
  19. I just sent my package out to some town in the USA.
  20. Nothing but rain here and a ton of it! Ice is out on the lake as well. I guess I was 3 months off with my prediction. ?
  21. Hear hear!
  22. Hang in there, time and experience pays off. We’ve all been there. Just stick with it.
  23. John Cox is in his own world, that’s for sure. As far as I can tell Wheeler isn’t pimping any electronic sponsorship as he’s running all three major brand. John Cox still runs a Fortrex and tiny (compared to everyone else) graphs. While Wheeler supports his sponsors (as he should) John Cox does his own thing by supporting his cause with his tournament finishes. These two guys are arguably number 1 and number 2 in the world when it comes to professional bass fishing yet have two totally different approaches to the game that is professional bass fishing.
