Reminder to all that it appears the deep discount fishing stuff has been moved to the Clearance aisle, if your store has one. Not in the regular aisle, though the $1.96 Cotton Cordell's on the bottom shelf are pretty cool, too.

Got the PowerPro 150yd 15lb for $7.00 today at another nearby WalMart. Gamakatsu Octopus 6 and 3/0 for 1.00. 1/4oz and 1/8oz Arkie jig head 5-packs for $.50. Hula Popper and Jitterbug for $3.17 (not clearance).

Sure enough, Clearance Aisle finds galore. As mentioned, everything rang up for even less. The $3.00 Watermelon/Black Senkos were actually $1.00. I bought everything they had. All hardbaits in photo including Yamamoto were $2.00 each. 110 yards of Trilene Mono, XT was $.75. Insane. Finally went to Walmart and stopped in the fishing aisle. Cotton Cordell rattle baits and square bills for $1.96, Luck E Strike curltail worms $1.56 per 10 pack, the legendary $1.00 spinnerbait, Zman Chatterbaits for $2.96. Lots of YUM soft plastics for $1.96. I spent some money.

Jsmel and scaleface: I bought all the Wee Rs and Mid Wee Rs and am hanging on to them for now, but there were Deep Wee Rs and Crank Wee Rs and some discontinued Critter baits (Big Ant) still there last time I checked. Glad to grab some for you if you can pay the $5.99 per plus shipping charges.

Thanks for the info. I bought 4 of the Muddy Pup Mid Wee Rs. There's plenty more in several colors. I'll probably go get some, because it is true that you can't have too many cranks. Thanks for the info, very helpful. Copyright 2000 and there is a website address. They look great, hopefully the smallmouth in my local river will like them.

The lip has "Mid Wee R" stamped on it.
