There is plenty of line capacity. It holds 100 yards of 14 pound line. Not all techniques require a 40 plus yard cast. I use my Tatula SVs for weightless plastics and casting too far will negatively effect hooksets.
I had a broken rod tube from the last rod I bought. The tube was was broken a little under half way. My rod came out unscathed and I think what really saved it was the rod having a composite blank. If it was graphite it probably would of broke. My bad shipment came from UPS.
I got 2 graphite Lew’s casting reels. Fished them for 2 years and they are still holding strong. I highly doubt they will fail. Everything’s big else I own is aluminum which I prefer.
I have an LTB and a Mojo. LTBs run $260 and and Mojos run between $130 and $150. I could get 2 mojos for the price of one LTB. I would recommend 3 Mojos instead now that they have upgraded them to SCIII graphite which is a step below the LTB.
I know a lot of people on her feel like after year anything that happens is on the owner. I just refuse to buy a rod over 100 without at least a 5 year warranty.
