  2. I too am in the camp of lightest weight possible, but have also boubled up lighter weight for the few times, I wanted more. I actually thinks the sound of them hitting together helped.
  3. Lund came out with the renegade to compete with the tracker as they see it as a market that can be penitrated. Lowe is regarded lower on the food chain
  4. I really prefer 8.1 as I am naturally slow on the real......especially after a 40 year cast with a jig. The IPT with 120 feet missing is greatly reduced.

  13. To many hats to mention, since I wear a hood on the suniest of days, some version of truckers hat. For overcast I have a few jungle soft floppy wide brims

  16. My OCD kicked in a few years ago
  17. I too like the small marshmallows, but spooning in some fluff is also good! .....did someone say spooning ?
  18. And you know that how ? I think giving a fish our ability and to see, think and decide may be a bridge to far
  19. I have a few braid to leader set-up and don't think I had 1 failure there. I change leaders often, but I really don't see it as a weak spot. My question, is why not all braid if abrasion isn't a concern. I think the right rod and reel can compensate for lack of stretch
  20. 1960 Reynolds Pom-Pom tree with original color wheel.
  21. I had to many unexplained breaks to stay with it..... At that price Hitena gets the call
  22. Ice out for central NH is usually around tax day, but I really stuck fishing in 45 degree water.
  23. I would have said 7's as it was my comfort zone, but I tried 8and found I could control the fish better, including keeping them in the water until they got in the boat......but it is really personal preference
