  1. I am pretty deep with GLX'S, mostly MBR' and a few Conquest....I had a 7'M conquest in my hands a lot last year!.....and lime I said, if I can spend more time with a BCer in my hands when throwing wacky, neco, light swimmer and needs, I am golden
  2. Thanks, minimizing pain is priceless ?
  3. Folks, I have zero experience with companies that sell ML casters and I need to try one. My ortho and neurologist both said to lessen my time with spinning setups..(Long story) This would be for neco, NED, weightless wacky, and small SB. The Shimano Expride A, ML has my attention Thanks, Al
  4. I usually go to Neco or shakey head, but throwing the ned up current can give good movement of the bait naturally and throwing down helps with detection. I just don't give it a lot of time before changing tactics
  5. Folks, Just wondering if anyone had any experience with either one of these reels. Thanks in advance for any input. Al

  7. If I had to pick one company that checked all the boxes it would be Loomis. If I wanted a similar feel in all of them, I would look to the MBR flex, available on many offerings. ??? somehow I knew that would be your answer, and I fully agree
  8. 7' M/MBR Baitcaster Braid to FC Light wire 4/0 EWG To drop it lower I add a barrel swivel If it doesn't work, I break out a jerk bait
  9. Teflon bunk slides are your answer....... Changes your life?
  10. I have a buddy, who like me, has their boat on a slip for the Summer and uses a trail-cam to watch his boat. It won't stop a thief, but will help put one in jail. Sorry for your loss
  11. It's hard to beat the ci4 around that price point.
  12. ^^^^This since I read about it a couple months ago on a previous thread...far better than 2 for me
  13. I have the ST Croix and Loomis, and would buy the SC's again. The E6X is OK, but there are better rods for the $$$$. While the GLX MBR is more expensive, it does a lot more and it's price may be justified. The can be had used for a reasonable price
  14. I have both and love both. I have had 1 out of 7 Met MGL'S feel gearie, but that's been fixed. Weight is a big factor for me, so I do reach for the Mets most, but the Bantam is special. It took me a while to dial it in as it is counter intuitive to most logic and it now almost obtaining the same distancees.....I use the Bantam for fishing in salad.....but truth be told, if the conquest 100 had more IPT, I would be very deep in them. Sorry for little help
  15. Easy fix! Put an In line shut off valve on the gas line (3.00). Don't ever shut the engine off with the switch, use the gas valve.
  16. Not sure it matters as much since you move the bait with the rod, but I make major twitches and I prefer 8.1, but probably wouldn’t buy a new reel if I had one kicking around
  17. At this point in the year, wait for Black Friday deals. 2 years ago I picked up 2 garmin 9’s for the price of 1
  18. Regardless of what folks choose to do, I suggest you also look at possible drug interactions. I believe it effect the liver in which case it interferes with some blood thinners, so please keep it in mind.
  19. Heck, I have never paid anywhere near those prices....
  20. Gamma Edge fits your needs and is better than red label and such
  21. ^ 80..... A fine drinking song of my youth
  22. Won’t be fishing till Spring, but there are a few good ways to spend time
  23. If all works as I expect, I get to check this off my bucket list next year. A-Jay, if you don’t mind, I will reach out to you on your return?
  24. I use them for LM and SM....an excellent bait
