  1. Know 1 craes about spllenig eorrs, git wlel suun an keep uz psoetd.
  2. at a minimum, this answers the questions on whether you should store engines full or empty.
  3. Andy, that video popped up on my feed last week and I too was surprised to see that my trusted additives do little to prevent rust. 2 years ago I found a station 30 minutes from me that that sold Non-E gas. This Summer I made weekly trips and topped off 7 gas cans. My small engines are doing far better and I sleep easier knowing it's in my Honda.
  4. .....while not the same, but the grocery stores around me have about 3 days supply in the event of a storm or natural disaster. Most families don’t have 7 days of supplies. Seams to me being prepared is being prudent.......and yes, bullets can be as valuable as bread. Having 30 days of MRE’s isn’t “prepping” is being responsible.
  5. Most preppers prep for civil unrest and there is a huge industry to sell you anything you need.
  6. In many cases the forgotten heroes are the parents left behind to raise the kids and then are there to help when returning. I believe it is harder for the family! I wish folks would stop thanking me and thank my wife
  7. I find Dark Sky and accuweather to be the best minute to minute forcast While on the water. Truth be told, our athletic department finds them more accurate for lightning detection than our expensive instruments
  8. Look at motorcycle rain gear. I know HD made bottoms with shorter inseams. Ladies rain gear also is usually shorter and I haven’t seen them in pink for years?
  9. Hard to add on what’s been said so far. When this happens to me, I put a block in front of the trailers tires and put the tow vehicle in drive. Moving the bal, to the front of the receiver often helps
  10. Look for a used cronarch MGL or a new one on black Friday, that said, my son is a very partime angler and a DC for him makes the days far more enjoyable
  11. Happy Birthday Brothers
  12. Thought PSA was about prostate ? .....that must be PTA?
  13. I got mine last year and they are water resistant. I did swim with them once and they were OK. The wind can be aggravating so I started wearing a necktie over my ears or a hat with a back flap.Driving the boat was not an issue.....fishing with the wind from the back or side is.
  14. For braid to leader set-up, I usually retie once a week and use the PR knot. While I admit is is a week link, I have yet to have a break off.
  15. Money well spent?
  16. One of my best friends has been fighting it for over a decade. A specialist systematically changed his diet and things improved. Since he changed his food and drink, his symptoms have improved to the point that he no longer worries about it. It is ugly to see....Glad your kn the mend
  17. As you can see, there are many ways to skin a cat, but if you are going to be a braid to leader guy, look at the PR knot. It is super easy to tie, it just requires a bobbin (sp). That said the uni-uni shouldn't be giving you as much problem as it is. These days I do use shooter Armilo for such baits
  18. This is an area that MB shines....The flatside and jerkbait are great and also good for topwaters and small CB. That said, there is no wrong decision here.
  19. The pop-max, because of its versatility! ......and since I usually don't loose jerkbaits, I don't hesitate to but the 110's
  20. I did a similar search last spring and tested quite a few. I settled on an Addermine. It was a little more than I wanted to pay but it does everything well given its a ML. Many say they never go on sale, but that is not the case
  21. Love Halloween more now than when I was a kid
  22. Put me in coach!
  23. Just to echo others on this post. If going small with kids, it would be a something like an Impact or equivalent. Even the most experienced boater has been caught in quick Fronts rolling through
  24. Weightless wacky Neco is usually 1/8 -3/18ish
  25. How does the GLX compare to the Phenix and Daiwa
