  2. Practice in a lined parking lot. You will be surprised what an hour can do. .......and go painfully slow. one hand at 6 o’clock and steer in the direction you want the trailer to go. .......and go painfully slow
  3. 8 inch bolt cutters have stopped several trips to the hospital and can be had for under 10.00 and will rust so keep them oiled
  4. I works great, it’s just big and 3 tags can catch a lot of junk
  5. I believe it is the Shaw Gringsby knot

Clayton, you will run out of money before good options, and I would add the Shield 9mm to the list. Reliability, Accuracy and Comfort make it a great everyday carry
  7. I have a weighted and non weighted rig and the non weighted makes me fish slower and I think contributes to its success......That said I use GY baits weedless as that is where they shine. Not all senkos are the same
  8. Before all this crap happened you could get an NRX for 400 with some shopping and a conquest for 425 and at those price point they are fantastic. Best is a relative word
  9. silver buddy, but in gold. There are a few similar.......I think Bugs is one, but will look in the box tonight
  10. ^^^^^This all day long...and if tying the pitzen go through the eye twice
  11. Very hard to beat the MB Addermine, but it’s a tad expensive
  12. It was a megabass?
  13. 2 years ago I snagged a new CB Dove down 10 feet to retrieve. Caught my then PB on the very next cast.....Think I scared my partner for life with my fat *ss
  14. a barrel swivel can add just enough weight to get the nose down making it swim lower in the water column, same can be done with a super hook, but I prefer the swivel
  15. I don't fish rivers, but those who do in my area are skipping overlays and roots do to variable conditions
  16. This is great. I have been asked to look into starting a team at my high school as Fall sports are uncertain and Squam is minutes down the road
  17. I used to be on the Correct Craft Pro program ( waterski boats) . I got a new boat every April for 8 years. My order had to be in by December of the previous year. I always had a deposit equal to what my payments (7 months) before ordering the boat and often chose colors that my buyer wanted. It al depends on who has the leverage and your motivation. At this point of the year, I would sell now
  18. I often have a well filled with C&R especially when I have NOOBs with me.... along with a bag of ice and isopropyl alcohol
  19. A properly set drag should make you rest easy. I get many more bites on 6# than I do with 12#
  20. It keeps the bait in the target zone longer than anything else. It also keep the bait out of the mud on soft bottoms. It can be rigged several different ways to suit your situation
  21. Nobody says you have to throw it nor should you have to be convicted. Its just fishing ?
  22. Prior to this Summer, I threw the DS 3 times. My 2 best fish this year have come on a DS.....1 in 8 FOW, the other in 30. “Old dog,New tricks”
  23. Hooks catch weeds.....you can only try to manage it and that said, I have got great fish tearing through the weeks. I use offset worm hooks when possible. My terminal knot is a uni, but run the tag end through the loop at the hook when cinching so it won’t catch. I also think mega strike may help things slip through, but there is no secret remedy.. I have tried the “chicken rig” and had success
  24. I can’t help but laugh, but my best fish this year have come on fairy wands and just ordered 2 fairy wand winders ???
  25. I throw my Neko’s on an NRX 852 with great success.....Wacky, Ned an DS are on spinning.....My accuracy is not as good with it and it just hurts after a while. ......also thinking of trying a 1/2 ounce DS On an 852 also
