    I am left eye dominant and left hand dominant, but ambidextrous with handguns, rifles, golf. I have tried RH reels and casting left and it doesn't work.......I wish it did since my vision in my right eye is failing. At least left hand reels are plentiful now?

    Probably got a dozen slims and they maximize space in the boat. mostly jerks, CB, poppers and other top waters. I am sure A-Jay will jump in........I like the rubber bands they use for braces

    Everything sounds great but I do far better with 8 and 10#......as Ned recommends.....since moving from 6 to 8,10.....i get hit more on the Fall and living in the granite state a little extra abraisen resistance is good

    When I was reborn to the sport, I spent the first year with 10# 832.... Most now have 30#.

    You could not tell by looking at me but I'm not a sweets guy ? .....but if someone is going to put in the time and effort, who am I not to show appreciation. Since blueberries are high in antioxidants, it's almost healthy ?

    Its all about filtering light,,,,base color selection is far more important. Mirrorring glass can be less expensive and like other have said, can scratch off.

    Short of setting targets on a golf course or highway, I don't think I could find 500 yards without picking up some serious vertical. Since my days of hunting have ended 100 yards is where everything is sighted.......I so miss the days of the M82?

    Outstanding marksmanship! Heck, I would need binoculars just to acquire a target at 500. .....I do miss those days

    I used to test cold weather gear for northface and patagonia and we fou D that super heating your core ( electric vest) really increased blood flow to hands. I keep hand warmers in chest pockets and I think the placebo effect kickers in?

    Your insulating layers can be more important that the outer layer. Given fishing is a low sweat activity and most insulating layers don't breath well, gortex can be a waist of money......some treated nylons manage wetness as good and remember, pressure will push water through stitching.
