  5. Great stuff! That said the Nikwax you use in your washing machine is even better. To get the best results use the wash product first.. If your pants are leaking through the seat, it is pressure through the stitches....I would Nikwax, wash, washing machine protect. Spray the stitching ......Done!
  6. I had to change my hook set to improve my landing rate for CB. For most of my techniques I use the rod to move the bait but found that it shortened my swing. I now point the tip of the to the rod directly to the bait.....sharpen my hooks and straight braid. It works for me
  7. The PR uses a bobbin and it is the best knot but labor intensive at first
  8. I stand corrected.....I throw mine on a spinning gear and it is just heavier and faster DS

  10. Wow.....initially thought SI and still think so, but thinking about how I fish DI is the crutch I rely on in more in the spring and fall. Good thought provoking question.....The short version.....I could SI to get the info I get from DI but not the reverse
  11. I am running 31 tanks and Odyssey for cranking and have the same story as Andy. Given you can’t tell the cost of something until the accounting period is over, it sure seams to me AGM is the way to go until technology and price gives me a reason to change
  12. Hitena 12 strand or silky is about as smooth as you can get, but it comes with a heavy cost.
  13. I use braid to leader for weightless senko as I need the visual assistance. Of your list...Invisx, if it was me, tatsu
  14. I read all the post and looked up a few of the formulas and am amazed that all the wicked smart ( Boston voice) post don’t answer the op’s question ?. To the OP, keep pointer finger under the line. That said, I will reach out to the Wicked Smart anglers when I need need to help my grandkids with there arithmetic homework ?

  19. I slipped a disc just watching it. ?
  20. I often remove the skirts from spinnerbaits and buzzbaits and leave a trailer on. I just have better luck
  21. The rod has more to do with casting distance, that said, given the same rod, “most anglers” with varying weights would get more distance out of a Met DC or Antares DC......or Conquest Calcutta 100 DC.
  22. I always have a trailer but not always a skirt?
  23. Heck, I have twin 93’s and want to upgrade, but the stress and learning curve still intimidates me. Maybe next year
