  1. C'mon Man ?
  2. .....sorry for the hijack, but what colors are you throwing, with this extra time I am filling in some holes in my inventory The dark sleeper has risen from the deap for me and now always have one tied on
  3. Had the same issue. Went to a 1/4 or 3/8 ounce with a light wire hook and things started to fall into place. Shortening your cast will also help. With time it becomes second nature. I believe most that struggle are not setting hard enough to get the weight out of the mouth and stick the room of the mouth. Guys whose gear isn't stout enough find themselves slacklining to compensate
  4. https://us.eufylife.com/pages/summer-sale Many can be charged with solar tol
  5. I have a eufy system that is the same ^
  6. To access many trail cam systems remotely there needs to be a cloud base system involved and that means data, and power supply, so yes. My trail cams have memory cards and I check them every few days, so no cloud based storage is required.
  7. I often have 3 DS rigs on deck in the summer, ranging from 1/8-1/2 and so sometimes heavier. Max scent PB to 3 inch swimbait.
  8. I usually add a clip in lieu of direct tie, to get it to be a nose down, slow drop for Summer fishing
  9. The way I like to start the weekend
  10. Hard to beat a 2 lb trout on a pocket fisherman at 9 years old?
  11. Bourbon usually gets the call...
  12. If your concerned about getting hung up, through the baby (child) rig. Casting to gnarly stuff should not create overrun. To help with pitching, practice on land, it's the best way of training your thumb
  13. Without putting your lively hood in jeperdy ?, and the OP doesn't mind, can you make some suggestions on what we can do to combat this. I lot of wives tales out there, thanks
  14. For Bass, I like the 2000 size Vanford for most applications. The 1000 size is great for Ned and close combat DS.
  15. Hard to add to the above but I was in a similar situation with the Fat Ika a few years ago. Spinning set up with 4/0 EWG......I went to a Shaunessey (sp) bend and it was fixed.....also used the EWG on a baitcaster and it was fixed. Moral of my story,,,,, match rod, line and hook better. PS, use offset ewg's when you need ewg
  16. I love good news! We celebrated our 38 last weekend and I am shocked to see how many of my friends chose to go in other directions. You must be living right!
  17. How about a finesse BC? Love this one https://www.alphaangler.com/collections/bait-casting-rods/products/clutch-power-finesse
  18. I too fell in love with this bait this Spring and it comes through cover far better than I expected
  19. If I had to choose one action for all my rigs it would be MBR "like". I just get more fish in the boat. That said it could just be compensation for a quick twitch?. I throw Fat IKA on a Medium MBR......GLX or Conquest (thank God I have a loomis guide in the family)
  20. This made me think and I lime many are in the middle. I do a lot of light wire techniques and for those I am a tight liner. For big TRigs and jigs I am reeling and setting for the fence. In the back of my mind pulling the weight through the lips to get hook penetration is something I struggled with early on. The fact that I am transitioning from mostly braid to FC is also is playing a role. Rod position is key for me and if I take a cast "off", I can easily be out of position
  21. It's a family camp boat for trout, salmon
  22. Just did some research and the bigger versions are being used by the military!
  23. This is a timely thread. I just purchased a 13 Lund Rebel and the tires look GREAT, but are expired. ......and also need a spare. Thanks for the reminder ?
  24. Your mind has a funny way of playing you and your not alone. Exercise....even walking, can turn things around. Climbing stairs can give you a sense of accomplishment. You need small wins Changing daily habits is another thing that help. Start small...wake up earlier, make your bed, have something different for breakfast, wear you watch on your other hand. Go out of your way to compliment others Chalenger yourself....pick a short window to fish, bring a bait you are not proficient with and fish it for 2 hrs.... .....this isn't about fishing...
  25. For me it is about Fit, Quality and performance. I will pay more for a light, ergonomic rod and reel that allows me to Stay on the water longer and with less pain. On a similar note, if they will last longer than me and be able to be passed to my grandkids, all the better. I have a couple calcutta conquest that serve this purpose. I have also found that if you plan on owning few rods, better rods are in order. I have a friend that owners 2 GLX 's, 1 is a JWR and the other a MBR. These cover everything he throws. Others have 20 rods, technic specific......who spent more ?
