  4. TnRiver46's post in Why won’t all these Michigan largemouth eat? was marked as the answer
Sounds like early spawning activity to me, usually the only time of year when they just quit biting. It’s quite ironic as everyone is typically always looking forward to the spawn, IME it’s the worst time of year

Hey man get off my turf……. Just kidding I grew up around there. You assumed correctly, bout time for the bass fishing to slack off upstream of Rockford. Luckily it gets really good below the small dam at egwani from now til spring

Some dude on chickamauga ticked off enough people to get in trouble a few years ago. He had some offshore monster boat capable of like 50 mph. I mean this thing was as big as a dozen wake boats. He would just tear up and down the river and slosh un holy amounts of water and injured 3-4 people. He is a doctor and was awaiting federal trail for some shady stuff in 2021

the boat is a Pershing 74, one bass boat clocked it at 58 mph

I always have the switch turned on when fishing, I click it over to backreel when I think I’ve got something big hooked. I’ve caught a lot of 40” gar with 6 lb mono backreeling, they go far and fast

  11. TnRiver46's post in Need a boat battery guru was marked as the answer
I always crank my engine at least every 3 hours or so , just to keep her juiced. I doubt there’s an exact time but I just do it for piece of mind. I did accidentally leave my graph on in my carport all night once and my battery was still reading 12.4 v

I think I would opt for shoveling snow! Glad they got it buddy, that sounds awful. My aunt had problems with those things for years

  21. TnRiver46's post in River Float Tube was marked as the answer
yeah buddy! The ones in this picture are one time use in the rapids . If you’re doing multiple floats for years to come, what you need are tractor tire inner tubes. The valve stem will bug you a little bit but they won’t bust nearly as easily. Throw some
hooks sinkers and a few pop R s into a bag of zoom worms and zip it in your shorts pocket

i must stress that this is some of the most fun fishing you will ever do. This is how we fish the rivers with rapids where you would normally be dragging a kayak or canoe. Sure the fishing is great, but the added element of tubing down rapids makes it so much fun
