I can say one thing with 100 percent certainty: a big bass is much more capable of pulling loose, jumping off, or breaking your line. Therefore they are captured less frequently
Shallow shallow shallow on chick and big G is what I'm hearing. Be ready for big crowds on those two lakes also, Tim's Ford should be much more peaceful. I've never seen it though

I use both. The advantage of spinning is the spoon will sink faster. Sometimes they like to eat them better when it sinks by them a million miles an hour. Other times they want the slow sinking bait, like a little Cleo
Culverts are always good. Just like trapping animals, it’s a funnel/choke point .
We have a bunch of them on the large reservoirs too, mostly when the water goes under a highway
