  1. The more laws you quote from MN, the more I think it may become part of California! I guess y'all do have the wrestling governor thing in common. Maybe I should stay on my toes, my county mayor is a former professional wrestler . Next thing you know catfishing will be outlawed!!!
  2. I already miss winter........ My deep bite is over
  3. I think our "little" town is big compared to where he hails from
  4. I got the pleasure of meeting the OP, @BigSkyBasser, yesterday and showing him around town a little bit. This young man is a go getter, y'all might see him fishing the classic instead of spectating one of thrse days! We ran into a few small schools of these guys amongst all the current.
  5. I've caught catfish on everything in the world except dough bait
  6. Wow that's a crazy fish, that newer pic shows it perfectly! I like it! No clue as to which species, looks like a mutt!
  7. Im going out on a limb and saying @Dwight Hottle has vast experience on waters of all kinds, allowing him to always understand the best plan of action in these situations Lord willing and the creek don't rise, I'm typically on the Tennessee river almost daily sooooooo...... Yeah I'll probably be out there. I probably won't fish for bass and won't get anywhere near a pro, unless of course they zip by me over and over like yesterday. I think it will be cool to be on the water with them and I will have to try a crappie white bass or catfish while in the down times
  8. When the title said "my spawning flats" a king size in a master bedroom is the first thing I thought of........
  9. Hahaha I can cook but only outside on a fire. That poor kitchen hasn't been updated since it was built in 1988. Lots of work to do before I can convince my girlfriend to move down there. My main bargaining chip is "it's on the lake, honey!"
  10. Use discretion when informing the game and fish Dept that you have kept a wild fish captive
  11. I only got one bass yesterday but that's better than none every single time. Saw lots of pros, they sure go fast. Spent most of the day working on the lake house, had to get proof for @Jigfishn10 this time hahaha. Got a free old school dishwasher from my buddy, it works 100 times better than the extra extra old school one that was down there
  12. Fishing below dams I always use a jig head with a curly tail or paddle tail grub. Bring lots of them, a jig head that will bend can help
  13. @Sam said the freebies will be flowing!
  14. The list of college hoops coaches that have payed players is basically the hall of fame. John wooden, Adolph rupp, calipari, pitino, Roy Williams, bill self........ will wade is just trying to get himself to elite status
  15. That looks like no fish I have ever seen before. Does anyone dump their aquariums in this flood pond? Haha
  16. Rained hard all day yesterday and all evening today
  17. https://photos.app.goo.gl/3pTVaM8rkW5pJLvm9 canoe serves me pretty well in the ocean. We just stay inshore or paddle up bays and mangroves
  18. Old bridge support and some rocks and maybe a stump nearby. Either that or an old foundation of a structure. Some fish hanging out around the cover
  19. It’s kind of wild when you have to use tiny tackle to get them to bite then all of a sudden a monster bites it. Half of me thinks beef up the gear and fish for the one monster, the other half thinks fish finesse to get more bites and hope the gear holds when mr big eats it. These Missouri boys made the latter theory work but I wonder how many times a record fish has broken the 4lb leader. Confliction.......
  20. Hahaha nope this was an urban outing near the house I actually live in. Termite and Gypsum free fishing excursion
  21. I think what I captured is a good icthyology lesson. White bass on top hybrid on bottom
  22. Unfortunately they don’t administer an IQ test before turning people loose on those things
  23. Well I think I know how they are solving that parking issue at the boat ramp
  24. I'm not advocating the practice but it happens. The amount of caves in Tennessee Alabama and Georgia is crazy. Fall of 2017 was super dry and we even had probably one of the only wildfires in the area over the last 100 years. There were leaves galore plaguing homeowners and a huge sinkhole opened up on Alcoa highway. Citizens suggested we fill it up with all the city's leaves hahaha
