  1. Exactly! Haha. I also learned that plastic worms stick to drywall and sometimes leave a mark......
  2. I spent my entire childhood walking through the house pitching and flipping jigs and spinner baits with a baitcaster. One time I was on the couch watching tv and my brother said to close his door because the tv was too loud. Instead of getting up, I grabbed the nearby combo and pitched the spinnerbait at the door knob. After about 25 tries it wrapped around the knob several times and I pulled the door shut. I could hear him mumble something like “too much free time” from behind the closed door. I may not be able to catching winning bags of fish but I can get the lure right where I want it!
  3. It doesn’t matter to me as long as they eye of the hook isn’t coated over with paint !
  4. I can’t believe our dogs haven’t attacked the tv yet
  5. You could always get Burt Reynolds to find a couple local boys at the filling station to shuttle your car........
  6. Toothy critters gotta eat too! Haha
  7. Smallmouth bass and a bowl of pasta?
  8. I have a magnolia blooming in my yard....
  9. Sounds like too much fun!
  10. Our fish are much too educated to bite during “chamber of commerce” sunny warm weather .......
  11. I have all kinds of boats and listen to reports from anyone. Bank fisherman are typically fishing to feed themselves so they are who I ask the most.
  12. Hahaha that is not me....... all my friends have those and I refuse to pay $90 for sandals........ they get rave reviews tho
  13. All the mink oil in the world won’t help this! I’ve already sent them back and had them repaired and resoled once. Then they did away with the lifetime guarantee
  14. I bet that cat won’t go near a fishing pole for several years
  15. I can mow through those $200 boots in 6 months..... pics to follow
  16. Like on chickamauga when people come off plane when you set the hook? Followed by a mysterious beeping sound .......
  17. Randy Travis’s answer to your last sentence is “it’s not what you take when you leave this world behind you, but what you leave behind you when you go.” I’m not saying I don’t participate in some fishing mind games or anything like that, those lyrics just came to mind. I’ve made some good friends sharing fishing info with others
  18. MY favorite are waterproof leather Wellington style boots. I’ve had a couple different brands and ruined them pretty quickly on roofs though. Does thorogood make any without laces? I hate paying high dollar for boots that I quickly ruin
  19. My buddy brings a blue heeler camping and it barks the entire time day and night. It’s annoying but at least bears don’t sneak up on us . When I took our dogs tent camping, they just kept hearing coyotes and staring off into the distance . I think they wanted to join the pack
  20. Rogne brown is the guy if he’s still doing it. Mike carter is another good one. Scenic city fishing charters has a guide named Ben Hayes that does bass also
  21. You might want to go back to fishing for little ones if MLF/BPT keep taking over !
  22. Yes, Dayton is much more friendly to tournament fishing than Chattanooga. It’s a tiny town that loves the economic stimulus of big tournament. Chattanooga, a much bigger city just a little further downstream, seems more interested in biking and triathlon type events. There’s nothing to do in Dayton but fish haha
  23. Yes, the only reason I knew is because I was in the arena when he explained it
