  1. Nice one
  2. I went!
  3. Got completely soaked in the rain but finally caught one after it stopped. @Bluebasser86's bladed jig again!
  4. Let's do it! Haha. I'll bring the drywall and shims if you'll "learn" me a thing or two
  5. Throw it out there, set the rod down, kick back and relax. When your rod is about to get pulled out of the boat, pick it up and reel in your fish. Ok that was hyperbole but not too far off. I use clear mono that's easy to see above the water but hard to see under it. You can see the line race off to one side or the other or directly away from you most of the time when you get a bite. It literally accelerates. If you can't notice it happening, you need to watch more closely.
  6. I can count on 2 fingers the amount of bass I've caught on a spinnerbait. I'm not exactly a newbie either. Some things just aren't for me
  7. I always fish the outside bends...... And the inside turns....... And of course right in the middle ........ And some places in-between ...... Sorry I'm no help and all jacked up on caffeine
  8. If only it took a long time to drink a beer.....
  9. It was slightly creepy but luckily I wasn't involved with any of the awful parts. I try to stay out of bus stations and train stations. https://www.wvlt.tv/home/headlines/Body-found-in-Fort-Loudon-Lake-198389671.html
  10. I don’t think they ever found out what happened as far as I know. He was deceased floating vertically in the river. It was about 10 feet deep and the current was moving but he wasn’t. 29 years old, they found his car in Roanoke, VA I believe and he was last seen at a bus station in downtown Knoxville
  11. I found a guy in the water that I kept hoping was a manikin or scarecrow. Unfortunately it wasn't
  12. I think the one that chomped me was our 1/2 pyranese, the one on the right
  13. That's a bass and 2 drum. I throw whole fish in my fridge overnight all the time and clean them the next day. It coagulates the blood and makes for much easier cleaning process.
  14. Solid fish @N Florida Mike. And big kicker to boot!
  15. Ive only fished sequatchie a time or two but I think we were around Pikeville around highway 27. It eventually flows into upper guntersville.
  16. Cool deal!!! Thanks for posting. Funny how that fish is also considered the Tennessee state record but the boat launch they dedicated and license plates are KY
  17. The sequatchie river might be just what you are looking for. Small tube jigs and topwater are my favorites
  18. Ive never done it or even fished tournaments, just what I've seen on film
  19. From what I've seen on YouTube of Scott Martin and Jacob wheeler, you just feel the bite and let the fish swim around with the bait and no resistance. Wheeler says he can somewhat tell how big they are by the way the bite feels
  20. My cousin used to work at a federal penitentiary and he says family stress is way more enjoyable than when someone is trying to strangle you with your own neck tie haha
  21. I don't think she logs onto bass resource but I better re phrase that!!!
  22. I'm going this evening with some Limblines for catfish, I told my buddy my left hand was at 60 percent haha. We would all be dead if our dogs wanted us to be! I think they could take down Ali and Marciano
  23. Just remember you are more important in someone's eyes than the birds of the sky that don't plant nor harvest nor store in barns, yet they are taken care of. Don't hesitate to ask us for help if you need it!
  24. my girlfriend's friend is obsessed with rescuing dogs and she works at a hospital so hopefully she can help me if need be.
