  1. Oh how I long for those temperatures! Still close to 100 most days here, and a humid 70+ early in the morning before sunrise
  2. All this in the article was right after they fired Fulmer. Kiffin was his replacement so it was all one big whirl wind. And now Fulmer is in charge of the athletic department so hopefully he will straighten things out soon
  3. Well I don't think I've ever purchased a "swim jig", I just catch a lot of fish reeling in jigs especially through grass
  4. I can. I'm not trying to say a spinnerbait doesnt work, im not that dumb. I've had 5 year olds out fish me with them from the back of my own boat. I just can't make them work, I've tried really hard for a minimum of 25 years
  5. When it all started going downhill........ https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/27638015/trash-talk-mattress-fires-flying-projector-lane-kiffin-year-tennessee
  6. Lighter line also. Remember the way a crappie's eyes are positioned means they usually feed above where they are sitting
  7. Also if any of the forum members children are good athletes, please by all means move to Knoxville and convince them to attend UT on a football scholarship
  8. I know I know I know, heard it my whole life, still can't catch crap
  9. For me, swim jig in all situations over a spinnerbait. I get mad just thinking about spinnerbaits.........
  10. Hair jigs are the easiest things in the world to make. I used to make them before I even had a tying vise. Place hair on jighead, then wrap with thread.
  11. You would be correct. Is that a breakfast pastry??....
  12. I never have liked an extra wide Gap hook
  13. Sounds fun to me!
  14. The only problem is when they are under the legal length limit, in which case you have to release a dead fish
  15. I've had many Merc's, always reliable for me
  16. One of Mine floats the trailer up off the bottom!
  17. Haha. You know they are out their throwing their snake heads Monday -Friday before the derby also.....
  18. You’d be surprised what they can survive. @A-Jay caught one with like 4 Texas rigs stuck in its mouth not too long ago. It might have lived it might have died, you never know. I just eat them!
  19. Mmmmmmmmmm
  20. @Bluebasser86, that's poor man's lobster
  21. They have lowered a lake near me twice in the past ten years well over 20 feet and it stayed low for a year or more both times. The fishing actually improved each time, a 2 foot drop shouldn't hurt a thing. You may be concerned but the fish aren't and they make due
  22. I ran over mine with the boat trailer last night even after typing that I forget it a lot. Luckily it's just a rock
  23. Ha! I believe you and I both live in a subtropical rainforest. Although lately it hasnt rained in a month, trees are still lush and green. We got enough in spring to last a decade or so
  24. If you drive through rain, then you are hauling water and just have to remove it when you get to the launch
