  1. I’d say get a new one, a used one, and a couple kayaks and a canoe. I love boats
  2. Ouch! Well I guess I meant smaller compared to the elites edit: just checked another local forum and someone weighed in 26.7 lbs in a dreamchasers 3 fish tournament on chickamauga with a 12.65 kicker . The pictures are ridiculous
  3. Yea I think one competitor said in an article somewhere that he caught 15-20 non scoreable bass in a period. Or maybe a day but a lot of small ones either way not being counted
  4. Its ok you will forget who won by the time it airs. Heck I watched the miracle on ice the other day and I kept thinking the Soviets were going to make a comeback.....
  5. Pawroznick would win that too. Cannonball!!!!!
  6. They should just use length
  7. And they will have the classic there in a couple weeks and 20 pounds a day might be good enough to win. Kind of makes you wonder, The biggest bags are always in the smaller tournaments
  8. If you get attacked by a snapping turtle in the middle of the night , I’ll give you $1000
  9. Excellent advice , I always have mine tied to the cleat on the bow ready to throw. Unfortunately I don’t think it would have helped in this tragedy as it’s about 85 feet deep and raging where they got sucked over. Maybe they could Have lassoed a Tie up on a wing wall or something, worth a shot
  10. @Team9nine, Sid vicious! That’s awesome
  11. I was just texted this picture from home, looks like mango has been digging holes or wrestling Again and has been banished to the porch. She’s our wide open throttle dog. When I left the house this morning her feet were white.....
  12. Technical difficulty, my bad
  13. Great read @Ivey. Sounds like stretch was from a good bloodline, had it in his DNA. Most of the best hunting dogs come from England, the rest come from Tennessee! Haha
  14. The top two competitors at the moment, wheeler and Neal, both live near chickamauga ( I think )
  15. When it warms up I will sometimes. grub, craw, or chunk
  16. Good gracious! That’s a toad. Welcome to the site, I fish some of your waters but never Tims. I’m upstream in Knoxville but I fish Alabama quite a bit. Did you nab that 7.3 in the winter? I camped below Wilson in March one year with monster smallmouth aspirations and the waves kicked my butt
  17. From what I understand their boat wouldn’t start so they just fished around above the dam on the TM and got pulled over somehow. I fish below the spillways all the time but I’ve never fished above one. Back in the day everyone tied their boats to the top side of chilhowee dam and fished for trout all night. There are a bunch of buoys around it now that a different company out of Canada bought all those lakes. Pickwick is just such a monstrous amount of fast water, maybe they have tried to put something there before that got swept away
  18. Bass fishing Florida? Take a bunch of soft plastics and rig them weedless. Trick worms senkos flukes toads and creature baits. I haven’t fished down there extensively but those things always seem to work. I don’t know if there are snakeheads in Orlando but if there are they will eat frogs from what I understand. A few other toothy critters will bite in the Kissimmee chain, pickerel and bowfin
  19. Yeah I’ve done the half hour casting on lunch break plenty of times, it just feels dirty . Caught some fish though!
  20. I will use a bobber if I’m tired of catching fish and I want some down time......... that’s just me though, plenty of people around my region win bass tournaments all winter long with float n fly
  21. I used to have a couple of those lures!!! I might try to hunt them down, I think one of them may have swolen and broken. One is bright yellow or chartreuse on the back and the other is blue
  22. Both! And in between
  23. Can’t help with ice but black ones are always good. Slow steady retrieve without jigging is underrated but if the water is super cold I would leave it laying on the bottom and bump it along
  24. My boss knows I get my work done but he still likes to chit chat until at least 4 haha
