  1. I have seen exactly what you are describing my whole life. I guess I’m a little late but I vote Shad. Mooneyes will do it around here but they scatter when you throw the net. I’m sure it looks like a big bird swooping down to eat them
  2. now that is funny!
  3. When I read this quote I thought “sounds like Greg schiano, MRSA, and the Tampa bay buccaneers”
  4. @JediAmoeba, that’s a stud! The bait monkey says you are welcome
  5. Woops. I accidentally posted some redundancy from the department of redundancy
  6. I know all about your sorcery up there, I’m engaged to one!
  7. You didn’t miss anything Bo...... get DOWN!!!
  8. I almost always use 2.75, big ones don't seem to work here nearly as well
  9. Well so far the boat ramps are open. I communicate with a few game wardens daily so I’ll let ya know

    Sweet!
  11. I wonder if you are allowed to fish off your own dock on closed areas
  12. I think I can see a fish on his screen from my recliner
  13. It’s coke cans!!! But yes I found a fab shop to weld on my old boat and they said it was just like welding two beer cans together
  14. Let’s just cross fingers and hope there is a training camp
  15. For precious trout. I’m typically fishing for keeps (food)
  16. I suppose I would just call it draggin a jig. I associate power fishing with cranking the reel handle constantly, like cranking and burning a spinnerbait. That’s just what I thought it meant
  17. No bueno. Kudos to folks like you that do work nobody else wants to . When your brain isn’t functioning properly some really bad stuff can go down I cut my own hair today haha. I like hats.
  18. A plastic Worm is about all I ever throw at a bass also. Mix in the occasional top water and what else could a man need?
  19. That’s the hogs I can get, wild ones with black hair.
  20. I would agree. I don’t call dragging a 3/4 oz football jig on 20 lb line finesse either but it’s not power fishing
  21. You gotta keep those smallies on their toes!!! Although I’ve heard up in your area ( big water ) finding them is the key, not the lure
  22. I can supply you with unlimited live (or dead) bait in that species if you’d rather try that...... they come pre scented, you could save on mega strike
  23. well that’s quite the generalization. Lots of bass fisherman, myself included, enjoy fishing slow. I like dragging the bottom with baitcasting or spinning gear. I Much prefer slow fishing to power fishing. Casting and winding is not everyone’s favorite way to fish
  24. Hahaha . It’s all several of my buddies throw! That Jig head you gave me is the only Ned head I’ve been able to use on more than one outing
