  1. Well I got beat on lunker award but it was a fun float with my brother and friends! One decent rapid, the future looks good for ducks and duck hunters

  4. I floated it in Newport TN July 3rd. It was slower than it usually is that time of year. This was our only decent fish in 9 hours
  5. Yeah I’m guessing little bass boats might not fare so well
  6. I guess I’m a little different, I don’t necessarily fish a feature on a flat. The fish push the bait up onto and all over the flat most of the time. When they aren’t running the shad I fish the drop off . When they are running shad they seem to be all over a featureless area raising cane attacking shad. In fast water it seems timing is more important than a ditch or log. If they are feeding I just burn a trap all over it. I would focus more on the ends and ditches when they are resting with a jig or worm. Here’s what most of ours look like and you can see the shad in tight wads freaking out and bass flying through the air frequently . It’s exciting and maddening all at the same time .
  7. I’ll be fishing it July 19,I’ve got to pick up some friends that are hiking the smokies, apparently the old man that used to run the ferry passed away
  8. Only time I can remember high clear water is in the deep mountain lakes like Norris and Fontana

  16. Gotcha. I was watching some guys catch them off beds on YouTube out of Lake Michigan recently but I guess it was either a) filmed weeks ago b) way north of sturgeon bay or c) both
